Ah, this was my first bike, I was 19, the bike itself was only 10 or 12 years old in the mid 90s. A lot fun!
Bought a brand new SR 250 back in October 1980!!!!!
I was 17 and it cost £799
Kept for 6 years and gave it away.
Oh to be young again.
An SR250 was my first “big” bike after I passed my big bike test in 1998, mine was an early 1982 model, had it 2 years, great bike.
That one looks immaculate, thanks for showing it.👍
I rode one of those in my 20's. Absolutely loved it for my work commute. VERY reliable!! I miss it. I really should have kept it.
Hindsight..... It would make a wonderful little cruiser where I live now.
I had one of these in the mid 1990's. It got stolen from a train station whilst I was on night shift. I still genuinely miss it, and watching this made me realise just how much ...
Nice and clean! Such a classic.
great Bike from my youth in the 80s. I saw one here in Germany in bad condition. I hope to restore it. Best wishes! Mike

Blown bulb usually causes these to blink fast like that. I have a request-could you specify if any bike has cancel function on indicators?
They were Self Canceling on the SR.
ie you push the indicator left or right and it automatically moved back to the centre...youth's pushed the button to cancel.
What's the topspeed
