I disagree with the comments below. Nature is not, " cute ", always beautiful, or good. It just is. And that, " is ", entails beauty and hardship. We all should be accepting of that and willing to see it without recoiling. To wish for anything else is unrealistic and somewhat childish. Enjoy the beauty but know what else is part of reality.

So serene and wonderful (!!) yet, by now we have accessed the truth, which reminds us of worst imaginable brutalities, cruelties and agony... of hours-long torture, dismembering and devouring each other alive. Did you notice the total absence of Crocks in the river... Sadly, in most other cases the true scenario with Crocks requires some not so serene music accompaniment.
