    Your channel is outstanding. Consistently delivering high quality, inspiring videos is not an easy task, especially for a demanding job like a pilot. My dream is to be a pilot, and I will never give up to achieve that, with this video serving as an inspiration (I love Japanese airports and Boeing! 💙🇯🇵). Thank you so much, please keep posting Japan takeoff/landing videos when you can! 🙌

    Je suis assez épaté par la qualité et le montage de vos vidéos. C'est extrêmement réussi et agréable à regarder. La vidéo n'est pas surchargée d'informations, il y a un très bon équilibre de ce côté-là. Ensuite, merci de ne pas rajouter une musique par dessus, le bruitage de l'avion et l'ambiance de vol contribue au succès de ces vidéos ! Comme d'autres "viewers", je suis aussi surpris par la difficulté de compréhension de la tour. Peut-être le son des communications ne rend pas aussi bien dans la vidéo qu'en réalité, mais je ne comprend que 10% de ce que disent les contrôleurs. Chapeau pour votre concentration à ce niveau-là !
    Juste une question, je ne suis pas pilote mais cela me surprend tout de même: Au moment où le train arrière touche la piste, le nez de l'avion se décale sur la droite, et de manière impressionnante je trouve. Est-ce à cause du vent?
    Sinon merci encore pour ces magnifiques vidéos !

      @FabledGentleman Před 5 lety +4

      Some airline companies pay your entire pilot education if you sign up to work for them for a certain period of time. But if you flunk your exam or quit the job before what the deal specifies, you will need to pay for all of it. This could be an idea for you, check which airlines do this. First you will have to take the A certificate, which is "easy" enough, takes roughly one year, this includes your 20 sessions with a teacher/co-pilot and another 20 solo flights, this is the minimum, if you pass these, and the exam, you can then fly a single engine plane.
      Then you start to study for you B License, which is mostly twin engine planes. While you study for your B license you need make sure to get a couple of hundred flight hours in your single engine plane, you need those to qualify for the exam for the B license.
      Finally you can go for your D license, which is Passenger jets. The entire education from A-D can take as little as 3 years, but realistically 4 years. Then you should have obtained the 1500+ flight hours required to receive the commercial pilot license (D license). And of course you need to pass the exam. After this comes specific education on the type of plane you want to fly.
      When you think of it, 3-4 years from start to finish isn't that bad for a job like this. It pays well, and you get to see the world. And being a pilot is still been seen as a high status job, something exiting that people admire. So if you want to become a pilot, i say, do it, go for it. Try and get a deal where a company pays the entire ordeal.

    Wow......that WAS quite real situation......Bad weather condition.
    Tokyo Intl' Airport(HND) is one of th best airports of Asia, with ICN and SIN, but travelling through whole airport on the ground might be boring LOL

    OMG those tiny lil' wipers, so cute! But they're not wiping the entire area are they.

    Fantastic landing with such a strong tail/cross wind! Also, is the localizer offset for this runway? Thanks!

    Great video as always. I’m curious though, with the winds 120 at 16, why wouldnt you elect to land on runway 16, or even runway 5? A 50 or 70 degree crosswind seems much easier to manage than a 110 crosswind. But then again I’m not the one flying here so what do I know lol

      At Haneda, Runways 04/22 and 05/23 are used for landings in the morning while 16 L/R and 34 L/R are used for departures. After noon, these roles are switched. Landing on Runways 04 and 05 in the early morning is not allowed as an ILS approach onto these Runways will cause aircraft to fly over residential areas, creating much noise. As such, approaches in the morning and late at night must be conducted from the east (so that the aircraft flies over Tokyo Bay instead).

    Not really know lots of things about landing a plane like this, but it must be tough if pilots cannot see the outside through the window, got electric devices though. Good video.
