Could not be more thrilled to work alongside Ro Panuganti again for another Rock-House fusion! AND for the first-time-ever, I even got inspired to record my own synth footage!! 🎹
The idea of remixing Speed Highway actually came up while I was randomly playing Sonic Generations; I looked up the OST & never realized the "Classic" remix was produced by Cash Cash!! They've been a huge inspiration of mine in the electronic music world, and was instantly motivated to produce my own version!
Without further ado, please enjoy this video full of epic guitar riffs, bright synths, a phat baseline, and of course: Ro's stellar energy & enthusiasm while performing!! 🎸

I purchased that keytar during the lockdown of Covid & ever since have been slowly but surely learning how to play, it's taken me a long while but I couldn't resist at least throwing in a few clips of myself with how awesome Ro shredded! 🎸🔥
I think I mentioned this in another comment, but even I am impressed with my own self with how my next video always seems to become "my best work yet" haha!! 😅 and to be frank, it's incredible to hear that from others to know I'm on the right track with my music! It's awesome to see you two perform! The video clips were a perfect addition. Ro absolutely shreds the Sonic guitar soundtracks, love that final solo and sustained note on the end! Okay, I'm a bit late commenting here, but woahhh, this is awesome!! Honestly, this is so much _fun_ to listen to, and your guys' energy is just plain infectious. I couldn't help but smile the whole time while watching. 😁 I'm not familiar with the original piece, or with SADX's soundtrack in general, but this rendition got me in the groove right away regardess! Being a big fan of Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, though, it was cool to see and hear some familiar elements, like the radical guitar, recognizable SFX, and wild urban-themed level designs.
And speaking of that guitar, it's the perfect tone and style of playing! I love the settings that Ro used, and his articulation and technique are so good! Every single phrase feels like it delivers something unique, and I love that the video includes footage of his shredding. As VGM enthusiasts, we're always wowed to hear real, recorded playing of our favorite tunes, but seeing the fingers at work completely magnifies the hype factor! And the man looks like he's loving every moment of it, as well - I love to see people having fun making music and just really going all-in - you can just see the genuine enthusiasm in his facial expressions and body movements! 🎸
And you, Player2, did a phenomenal job, as well with that keytar and keyboard playing! Like holy heck, man, that came out of nowhere, and it was so cool to see you playing your heart out alongside your collab partner. I'm sure you guys recorded your parts miles away from each other, but the way the video is edited, it feels like you guys are in the same room, with the tight synchronicity and similar energy. And man, those quick, rhythmic chord segments were _tight_, but you made them look so natural and fluid - you have some superb dexterity! 🎹
This is easily one of my favorite videos of yours yet, right up there with your Starman remix video. I can tell this project must have been quite an undertaking, with all the work that had to be done recording, compiling, and editing the footage, as well as deciding where and when it should be used in the video. Just the process of selecting clips is a big task in itself, and the constant change of visuals kept things incredibly engaging from start to finish. You expertly integrated your guys' recorded playing with some sick gameplay footage, and the transitions between them all were super slick. I love the frequent use of RGB shifts, screen warps, and some cool new glitch effects (like at 1:02), and there's not a single change that isn't accompanied by some kind of transitional effect - that's attention to detail! Both your video and audio production are so dang professional, and the way you so prominently featured your partner in the every aspect of this, from the description to the comments, just warms my heart entirely. You guys rock!! 🌟

I couldn't agree more, Ro's energy & ability to play these chords while in such a hyperactive mood is extremely inspiring! Ro's typically has different videos of himself playing in his videos, so I wanted to give him that same opportunity here; plus it _does_ look incredible to watch his fingers working the magic!
I know! Definitely came out of my comfort zone for this one; but I couldn't resist playing along because of Ro's infectious energy!! Very glad you enjoyed it; I'm not the best at playing, but I have been working on my keytar craft for a few years (I bought the keytar during the 2020 lockdown) and slowly but surely learning how to get my fingers to memorize note patterns!
I'm also very impressed with my own editing skills, as this did take quite some time making sure every transition was _juuuuust_ right! As always, I appreciate the time you dedicate to write enthralling comments, and makes the concept of remixing video game music _that_ much more enjoyable knowing there's people out there like you, Equalyze, that can enjoy videos like these to the next level. Haha I've always loved how diverse Sonic's music is, it was definitely ahead of its time! Especially since most game music is, not necessarily "dance", but for example if anyone were to hear this song without ever playing this game, it could blend in with regular Rock songs on a variety playlist!
