Great tutorial, thank you! Just a heads up in case somebody has the same problem as I did, on 8:59:17 don't add the script directly to the button OnClick method, add the empty game object (that has the script). If you add the script directly to the buttons you'll see it has no access to the methods. You said "add the ColorChanger script" but I'm sure you meant the empty game object with the script. This will hopefully save someone's time

somehow the Virtual button aint working for me, i did the same thing as the instruction by adding the script to the ImageTarget and select cube GameObject. Still the button ain't working + the object is always appear when the marker is detected. Hopefully someone have completed the Button part so i can confirm that i made some mistakes!
update: everything now work perfectly when i started a completely fresh project! probably i did mess up something!

What format of 3D model is better for augmented reality apps? I'm working at Educational App, i would need to render hardware artefacts, by performance is better glFT format or something else?
Vrx is best for VR but you can also use fbx and OBj file
Hey, thank you for the video! I'm just started to write a little AR treasure hunting app, what will operate only in my apartment. I'm a programmer but never did anything AR and/or mobile. I'm just wondering, what are the best technologies to use here.
- I want virtual marks to appear on strictly specified 3d points (x,z and y too)
- I can't put any marks on the places, to drive the app
- I can teach the 3D space to the app before the using - in general - but I can't garantee, that every little thing will be on the same place (only walls, doors, bigger furnituers)
I would like to put a game layer onto it but it's not in AR, just some questions, the gamer has to answer to get the mark of the treasure. - it has nothing to do with AR

you need to feed your scanned home into the app then you can simulate where some virtual objects should be placed, I know Unity AR Fundation has this feature of XR Simulation, don't know about Vuforia

Hey, Love your presentation, however when i followed it i get an error when i do the script to pull in the Varable into the Inspector pane. It comes up with an error "(20,30):error CS1061: 'GameObject" does not contain a definition for 'setActive' and no accessible extension method 'setActive' accepting a first argument of type 'GameObject' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly refernece?" not sure what i have done wrong.
The code line is :
[SerializeField] GameObject InformationPanel;
It doesnt seem to like that peice of the code.

Yes you can. You have to understand uv maps normals and vector math
Why do you want to waste your time creating them programmatically i understand you want to learn more deep into it but it's just a waste of time.. imagine sending posts to people in the generation where we can just do it with a button click virtually
