I got the actual BMW as a starter car by using nfsc extra options dubug menu. Start as usual until you get to the car selection screen. Dont choose a car just exit out. Go to debug menu and choose the bmw, not the cross chase one. Then change the color to silver then find the livery and press enter to select the car. Go back to story and bam.
The m3 gtr is actually considered tier 4(i know tier 4 doesnt exist) tho it is only actually worthy of being a tier 4 when u download the nfsmw performance mod
I always hated the car tier systems in this game as it always locked out some of my favorite cars from being used after a certain point in the game. I also hated that you can never get the bmw back in career mode, despite it being in several cutscenes, albeit from a distance
Man EA missed a big opportunity for this game. Imagine this, you beat Most Wanted and have that save file. Once you start this game, you get to keep the BMW instead for finishing Most Wanted. I know it makes the game a lot easier but think of all the effort you've done in Most Wanted

I also hated how you couldn’t get the r8 he literally hands you the keys at the end, I got excited just for the car to not be there
The "keep moving" sing is the way the game is telling you that "you're too slow noob"

so in this mod the BMW M3 GTR from most wanted isn't totaled like in the vanilla game? I'm bit confused here.
Well, you escape with the Supra in CBR, then an M3 is shipped from BMW themselves and it replaces the Brera as an exotic starter

You have to unlock them, you can download a Starter Car Changer script that lets you unlock them instantly.
try extra opt with f5 cheat to check maybe ?
