In a fresh incident of violence, two individuals, believed to be Kuki militants, was killed in a gunfight in Manipur on Saturday.
The shootout occurred at the tri-junction of Imphal East, Kangpokpi, and Ukhrul districts, particularly at Moirangpurel in Imphal East and Kangpokpi since 8 am in the morning.
Tensions escalated after two days of cross-firing between Heirok in Thoubal District and Tengnoupal. The situation worsened at Moirangpurel, with armed groups from Kangpokpi and Imphal East clashing. The violence persisted past 1 pm on Saturday as village volunteers from valley districts retaliated against armed militants from Kangpokpi.

Look at the location of the incident and get your facts right. it is clearly visible that the meitiei militants and radical groups were travelling up the hills using Police bullet proof vehicles to attack Kuki Villages. Why dont you question what were those radical meitei terrorist were doing in the hills? how can they use police bullet proof and sophisticated weapon? In those circumstances when radical meitei groups have access to bullet proof police vehicle and using sophisticated weapon, the Kukis were merely defending their villages, now you label those defending their villages as agressor or Militants but completely ignore the use of government vehicle and automatic weapons by Meitei terrorist group who were the aggressor. It doesn't take a genius to figure out, use you two cents.
