Interesting comment about the Daring's lack of speed. Back in the 70s, I know for a fact that HMAS Vampire, a Daring class destroyer, was capable of 45 knots using her battle sprays. Problem was though there needed to be a fleet oiler handy for a refill afterwards 😆. They were quite a speedy ship.
@@MM22966 yes, the stokers would change the fuel oil sprays, relatively quick job. Every now and then they’d throw a can of Brasso in to make green smoke.
Damn. Y'all made a reef up at C Cap. ;) Also, never got to Daring, myself, still on the Lightning, which is pretty nice at T8. SUPER stealthy, shame it doesn't stay that stealthy the rest of the way up.
I disagree. Gearing is the best DD for beginners, since it doesn't rely so much on guns and has a more layed back playstyle. Daring is for those who know what they are doing (smoke/conceal abuse, HE/AP, correct healing/hydro usage) and want to carry games. Also, it profits from knowing how to play a DM once you are out of smoke ... So definitly not the best recomendation for beginners.
Nonsense. Daring's toolbox makes her a very comfortable DD for beginners. Meanwhile, Gearing's extra long smoke screens are a bona fide noob trap almost guaranteed to get you torped.
@@rexstuff4655aha, Tell me how many darings die instantly due to overconfidence in a gunfight, while gearings plays more like a torp boat who doesn’t want to get spotted? If you suck as a player, you don’t need a toolbox you can’t control but a ship which plays simple. And that’s gearing, not daring. (I know daring is better, but you have to know how to play the game to utilize it)
@@GodOfWaaar "A toolbox you can't control"? That doesn't make sense, what does that even mean? Those short duration smokes are almost always available to get you out of trouble, and the hydro keeps you safe from torps, while the heal helps you recover from making mistakes. Daring is far and away the most forgiving T10DD.
Part of why I lose interest in this game is by playing a DD and seeing even cruisers speeding by me. BB's should be *capped* around 29, cruisers around 36, and DD's around 50. Just seems to me like you'd want a carrier, a few subs, a few cruisers and a few BB's, but I'm a noob so what do I really know anyway.

Battle sprays? Some kind of fuel injection?
@@MM22966 Boiler sprays, steam turbine.
But of fuel, not water? (Not an engineer; I tried looking it up online, but I don't know the right search terms)@@PilotMcbride

That is a very Daring play style you have there.😅😂 GG😊
it's raining metal and fire

Ello, Just started my Daring grind!
Guns are a bit difficult until Lightning at Tier VIII, at which point they become seriously dangerous.
'You are dead' BOP BOP BOP BOP was funny.
One inaccuracy. A Halland and similar can absolutely shut down a Kaga. The T6 planes evaporate in strong AA.
👌.
I am still not used to the Nakhimov, this thing is still ridiculous. I want to unplug my PC everytime it's in enemy team.
Daring is awsome DD with amazing HE and AP but i dont think is for beginers :)

Daring is not for beginners
The British DD line is good for beginners. Daring is not.
