- In 2020, six more stations on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) are scheduled to open. By 2024, the rest of the TEL will open, and the TEL will connect to the Downtown Line at Sungei Bedok station. From 2026, the Jurong Region Line will open, with the entire line ready by 2028. In 2029, 12 stations on the Cross Island Line (CRL) will open. It will be Singapore's longest line and have transfers to every other line. In 2023, the North East Line will be extended with Punggol Coast station to cater to the upcoming Punggol Digital District. In 2025, Hume station will open on the Downtown Line, while the Circle Line will close the loop with its final three stations.

Have just visited Singapore 2 weeks ago, and the public transport system is do damn good and well organized. I've just found this video and realize that the two-week-ago experience is gonna be greater in the next several years.
I love Singapore railways. From the Philippines.
you know the cross island line will have a pungool extension - pasir ris----elias----rivera----pungool
Yea
Yep
Yup
This means that they are gonna increase the train fare.
Singapore 🇸🇬future Thomson East Coast line will be the longest Subway line when fully completed surpasses the Hong Kong 🇭🇰SAR Newly Completed Opened longest Subway Tuen Ma line.
Tuen Ma Line is 57Km, Thomson East Coast Line when complete is 43km. But not to forget SH Metro Line 11 is 82km.😝
Well if you're wondering version 5 it well be in 2040
So many flats at Yishun ave 6 , but didn’t think of building a MRT there. Land all cover by flats. So inconvenient as need to walk a distance to the bustop to take a bus to Northpoint and yet still need to walk a distance to Yishun mrt. Waste my time just for walking and taking a bus .
Actually, LTA did announce in their 2040 Masterplan that they were considering to build a future MRT line which goes near Yishun Ave 6, if not Simpang. It is planned to go from Woodlands North to the Greater Southern Waterfront...
Although, it is still in the planning stages, and is expected to be completed by 2040, not sure if it would help you much
@@themakoshark4834 wait is it the SSL, Seletar line?
@@drsolo7 Yep, though some people speculate the name could be North Shore Line also
Also a bonus fact (sorry if you already knew), Prince Edward Road MRT station is a 2-floor stacked platform interchange station, like Gul Circle, City Hall, Raffles Place and Bayfront, with Circle Line occupying 2 platforms and a "future line" (most likely this new 2040 line) taking the other 2 platforms.

Changed alot for now
Correct
Circle Line reminds me of Circles Life
What about ne2 and ns6
That’ll be by 2040
Kampung Bahru and Sungei Kadut
Buit brown
What Buit brown you mean bukit brown
Is it just me that I called the Thomson-East Coast Line the brown line? I always prefer to call them by the color of the line not their actual name that the company gave.
WOODLAND SOUTH STATION IS VERY FAR FROM SPRINGLEAF STATION
Ya cause there is a military base
