I will be doing some gray wolf photography at Yellowstone NP in January 2015. I love those wolves. While furry friends like our dogs they surely are not, we need to protect them for our future generations.

I absolutely appreciate Explore Magazine for posting this video of wonderful creatures. It is very true that we humans have always related the surrounding animals with a definition of only either bad or good creatures. I do believe it is about time that we look outside the box and see that they are no different from us and are very social, even though there are times when a wolf would harm a human which in such a case, it wouldn't be any different from a human harming an animal for hunting purposes. Therefore, to think that elimination and species-cleansing from "fear" alone as the only method we have, when we've always had other methods of handling our fear... It makes lots of people nowdays feel somewhat embarrased to be part of the human race. Wolves and all creatures are all wonderful and beautiful just as much as we are.

There is a fellow near who has a wolf
The wolf is huge, approximately 160lbs. He talks him for walks through the neighbourhood and he even goes to Canadian Tire.

These wolves seem to know that humans are not prey. Well, a long, long time ago, some wolves started hanging around humans and somehow evolved into dogs--including miniature dogs! But it's amazing to see these big wild beasts acting friendly with humans.
