I am a Hoosier girl living in a Kentucky world since 2013. I grew up in Merrillville until I was 20 when I got married and moved to the Indianapolis area. I stayed there, spending the last 20* years in Greenwood. I met and married my KY husband and moved south in 2013. I am a thrifter from way back but my husband is a big no go.. I envy you having a spouse that loves thrifting enough to make a trip out of it! I watch the Pudgy Picker here on CZcams and appreciate her booth tours. She organizes her booth into zones.. I visit the local Peddlers Malls near us and so many booths are just so messy I wonder what they are thinking. I pass by booths that have too much chaos going on. I got a big laugh out of the confessional because we are Catholic. My husband went to a minor seminary during his HS days but he tells everyone his vaccination didn't take. He had a twin brother that died at 3 mos of crib death. His mother was very devout and prayed for one of her remaining 4 sons to became a priest. All 4 married and had families.
Ok. Hear me out. This could be a good idea! Sit in the Confessional and take random peoples confessions and film them! 🤪🤣 This could be hilarious! Misty & Mark “Confessions of a Thrifter.”

Misty, there is a dear 90 year old grandma from Appalachia named Lois Baird-Rice who started her own CZcams channel a short time ago. She just sits and tells great stories. In every video she either has a large flower in her hair or wears hats like you were modeling in the show today, she must have a pretty big collection. She's a hoot , I love her. 😅 You and Mark stay safe and warm.😊

Fun fact: Krispy Kreme was founded in Winston Salem, NC, in 1937. That’s close to where I live! They are the best doughnuts for sure! Nothing beats the warm glazed ones. I rarely eat them, but if I do, they’re KK. 🥰❤️ Come to NC and you can get all you want…fresh and warm!

I am an Interior Architect/Designer and I LOVE to recycle things! I would use the confessional as his and hers water closets. He and She can use the toilette and chat. And the stained glass for shower doors. Can you just see that?? The perfect bathroom!! How about a baptismal font for the sink?? I absolutely need that.

I was laughing when you were trying to talk and GPS was giving directions. Your reaction is the exact same way I am when me and my hubby are traveling and I am trying to say something when GPS comes on. Also love watching your adventures, my hubby does the same thing as Mark does for you looking for certain things that he know you are on the lookout for.

Oh my goodness, You went to my shopping areas (when I have time). I haven't been to Frankfort in awhile. Georgetown Peddler is my closest, first choice. It's getting harder to find vintage/antique's in these places anymore. Take care, drive safely. (Heather)
