I Just hit 1500 subs with this video. I am truly humbled and am grateful for this milestone. I just want to thank everyone who has been coming along for the ride with me and commenting. Good for her, your wife looks like she's really enjoying riding. I too am short 5'2" and started on a 2 wheeler alone with my husband and like you said, it is very relaxing to not have to "Think" about shifting gears. My husband and I sold our motorcycles couple years ago. Now that we’re getting older and start seeing more pains we decided to look into the Ryker and Spyder for both of us. Great video! I’m excited to enjoy the ride and not worrying about dropping and dropping the bike .
I am glad that you enjoyed the video. My wife and I love the Ryker. It is very comfortable and user friendly. I know what you mean about the pains. I have new ones every day lol. Sometimes I say, I didn't know that could hurt 😅
I really appreciate that you did this for your wife. I'm 5'1" and have issues reaching the ground too. I am looking into getting one of these if I can. It would be my commuter to and from work.
We tried every motorcycle and scooter on the market. She could not touch the ground on anything and really wanted to ride. The Ryker is perfect for her. I am glad they came out with it. You will really enjoy it when you get it Toni. Have fun and drive safe.

She will love it. Everything is fully adjustable to fit different heights. My wife passed her license test. I put up a video if you are interested.

My wife said I already lost it lol. I am going to try to get a shed this summer and pick up a used street and trail next year. Something around $3000 or under.
What kind of license do you need to ride the ryker
It depends on what state you are in. Pennsylvania requires a motorcycle license but some states only require a car license. Mine has a motorcycle plate on it. If you have a car license in Pennsylvania, you can ride alone with just a learners permit. The Ryker is fully automatic and super easy to drive.

I just told her what you said. I definitely lost the Ryker lol. I am glad she is able to ride and have so much fun. She deserves to be able to get out and have fun. I am eventually going to get another motorcycle so we can ride together.
I totally agree. Everyone deserves to be able to get out in the wind and have fun. As you know having MS means that I can’t support the weight of a two wheeler at a standstill. The Ryker was the answer to my prayers, allowing me to ride again. I think that this little machine is going to prove to be a game changer for a lot of people, for many different reasons. 👌🏻

Man you should have kept your 2 wheel you could have ridden together, her on the Ryker you on the bike! I'm secretly hoping to make this happen at my house but I only just convinced the wife to ride 2 up on the Ryker she seems to enjoy it... which is a major improvement over her flat out refusal to get on the sport bike! Baby steps lol
I honestly wish I didn't sell it but it was a good down payment. We could have been riding together now. I only have a Shed in a Box for storage. I need a real shed. I am glad your wife is enjoying riding with you now. I think she will enjoy riding the Ryker when she gets used to it. 😁
Thanks for the heads up advice before hand! I wasn't sure she would like it at first but after adding a pad to the rear seat she actually seems to enjoy it. At least you guys can enjoy it together and always remember covers work great too, my first sport bike lived several years under a cover when I still lived in an apartment! Ride safe both of u!

I am thinking about getting the wife one. she has a motorcycle but as she is getting older she is not as brave as she one was on 2 wheels, but i am certainly not going to sell my 2 wheels.

She hasn't been on the road with traffic yet. This weekend will be her first time. She wants me to follow her with my car until she is 100 percent confident. I think she will be fine.
How does the licensing process work in Pennsylvania? I know here in Virginia, If you complete of three wheeled motorcycle training course, you’re awarded a paper three wheeled motorcycle license upon successful completion of the course. I finished my course the Sunday before last, and was out test riding a 600 Ryker the next day.
It is the same process here. The other route you can go is to get your permit and you can drive by yourself as long as you have your drivers license for a car. Then you can take your drivers license test for 3 wheelers free at the DMV. That is the way my wife is doing it.

Robin, my wife loves the Ryker. It is very easy to ride and lots of fun. You only live once. Buy the Ryker and enjoy. You need to make yourself happy.

Nice video, I want one of these. I'm a big guy 6'5" and weigh 450 lbs. How do you think I'd fit on a Ryker?
Unfortunately, the maximum weight capacity on the the Ryker Rally is 438 pounds. The rear tail may hit the back tire with more weight. With an upgraded shock you should be fine. It has plenty of power.
@@budyser365 Is that right? 438 wow! I thought you could have two people on one no problem? How about room wise? I know the handlebar and foot pegs are adjustable, just wondering if it really makes a difference?
@@anthonybovee5181 The adjustability is awesome. In my opinion, the Ryker would be good for someone from 4 foot 5 inches to 7 feet tall. I am 6 foot 2 inches and 275 pounds. I ride with the pegs on position 2 or 3. They go from 1 to 5. I can't reach them correctly on 5 and 4 is still uncomfortable. My wife is 4 foot eight and likes them on 1 or 2.
The max weight capacity for the standard 900 Ryker ace is actually higher at 449lbs so lose 5 or 10 lbs and you will be good to go!
I came back to report that I'm down from 452 to 440 lbs!!! I really want to get one of these, and with all the walking I've been doing at my new job I've dropped 12 lbs so far. I appreciate all the info and hope to maybe make a few clips on a Ryker or Spyder myself!
