  • A very necessary trip. My Colombia chapter has come to a close- it feels bittersweet. No more motorcycle. No more girlfriend. No more job. Going back to Colombia was like stepping into a past life...very strange. But I made the most of it, and made some new memories along the way.

I stopped at the same spot you stopped on minute 10. Medellin is AWESOME. Going there in June.

@03:49: Singapore noodles - The dish itself actually has no connection to Singapore, where you'd be hard pressed to find it. It's a restaurant invention found mainly in Cantonese or Hong Kong eateries. Having said that, it is very tasty.

Hey bro. I’m excited for you. Question about the ayahuasca. Is this based just on the outskirts of Medellin with a Swiss couple? I’m interested in understanding as have been researching doing this in Medellin also. It seems more cost effective then Costa Rica ect but interested to know if the quality and standard is the same as you would get in these more common resorts. Any details you can share will be much appreciated. Happy new year. Alex

Honestly man I couldn't tell you how it would compare to other retreats, as I've only drank with one shaman in Medellin. It's just one hut in the mountains above Medellin, an older Colombian fella. I slept on the floor. I pay about $30. I wouldn't wanna go to a "resort" per se but a bed would be nice, haha. Cheers man

Welcome back! Did the immigration ask for a vaccination certificate or Covid PCR test when you enter Medellin?

Yes they asked for a vaccination card at the US airport check-in counter, and right before boarding the plane into Colombia. BUT they barely checked it...they just wanted to see that I had a tan card.
