Every random all, random select, cannonball, gfred vs derfg, i emjoy watching them all. They all have a unique element of joy for me to watch, as each race is different and definetly different skill shown on every level of driving

I was going to say there should have been no way even the lag bubble should have caused that hit given there was a consistent directional input before and after the pass.

@@neonwired4978 nope, the call out was valid, look how Jujo's car reacted to Broughy laghitting him, as if from behind. As far as Jujo was concerned, Brough was behind him when the collision happened that forced him off track
@@DiNmiTeThese races look fun, but the lag bubble issue is an instant turn off. You guys recording it can go back and look at things, but if brough was an everyday joe, from his angle looked ok but then get called out, total buzzkill.
Let’s be honest here it’s all a bit of fun at the end of the day, so I would say yeah it’s a wait just coz lag is a thing but it was a perfect overtake by broughy because he didn’t even touch jujo 👍🏻
@@anthonyfaccaro7118 okay so like 99% of our players who dont make content off random races, the rules the same for everyone, everyone deals with lag because thats intrinsically part of FiveM
From what Broughy said at 5:00 about the wing. In vanilla GTA, do we lose the traction bonus if we damage the wing and it pops off the car? i know it happens for the Open Wheel cars, but what about normal cars?
if you damage an active spoiler you also lose traction

Very early one (before episode 10 I'd say), hill track, maybe the one with the dump? Which could've been a random more instead. That's the best I can do :D

He indeed touched me there. Due to lag being what it is on my POV Broughs car bumbed me from the rear and pushed me right over the edge. I've sent people flying with my lag bubble too even tho I'm nowhere near them but just gotta adjust your driving on the server to minimize such issues. If I did take someone out with my lag bubble callout in such an incident is fair and square

Intentional or careless drving should be waited for. Lag should not. There is literally no way to predict it, and ruining both people's race doesn't feel like a reasonable or fair solution. It makes no sense.
Not waiting for lag hits is abusable, anyone can just plow through people and say "it was lag I didn't hit you on my screen" and run with it. That is why everyone is responsible for their own lag and it is treated the same as any other contact.
@@DiNmiTe Fair for everyone? Idk about that. How are you to be responsible for your own lag when lag is not predictable? You can move completely to the other side of the track and still lag crash someone. Aggressive drivers are like a bad smell, it isn't difficult to determine who is doing shit on purpose. Remove the transgressors as needed. I don't see the fairness in punishing EVERYONE because the latency is different. This is a random all, not a sanctioned race for official standing. Its meant to be fun, not a "let's stop every 30 seconds because of lag drag." That is not a race, it's an annoying pot luck. I get trying to level the playing field in "fairness". But this solution doesn't seem fun, nor fair to me. Your mileage may vary. Intentionally crashing someone else should be punished, not the luck of the lag draw.
@@mattalger2325 most of the time lag _is_ predictable, certain maneouvers and racing with certain people you get a sense of what you can and can't do, so it's clear you haven't raced on FiveM before because you severely overestimate the issue. "it isn't difficult to determine who is doing shit on purpose" -- Was Brough being aggressive then with that cutback but squeezing Jujo into barely a car's width? Should also ban Broughy since he put his nose into the corner of that Trashmaster and caused a multi-car pileup, clearly can be interpreted as aggressive driving from other drivers' POV.
Random all or not, server rules still apply. I repeat what I said earlier--if laghits are meant to be ignored because they are "unpredictable" anyone playing in Australia or Asia shouldn't worry about where they are for other people. Since laghits should be blissfully ignored, they should drive as normal, and if their latency causes crashes, so be it as long as _on their end_ they raced clean. You see how this is unfair to other players? The "your lag is your responsibility" rule makes sure people are aware we have players from across the world, everyone's ping is different so if you cause a crash because your ping is higher and you didn't take that into account when dive bombing, that's on you.
@@DiNmiTe No, I haven't raced on pc or 5M so I don't have the same experience with the lag bubble. So I do absolutely see and respect your point. Waiting is probably the best solution to the issue. I just don't happen to like a solution where people who aren't deliberately aggressive get punished. I agree, no one should dive bomb someone, and claim laghit just to get away with it. Obviously it's impossible to confirm someone's intention. It's just not a greatest solution in my opinion where Innocent people are punished.
@@mattalger2325that's just the best solution we have to a flawed platform that does player-to-server connections not peer-to-peer like in GTA Online, and tbh once you're aware laghits can happen and you adjust to it you can race side by side rather well, this was just a messy case cuz new track plus random all :D

Ive never seen broughy do a proper wait they always get halfway past his car and he just drives off 🤷
