In a year or so, they will only have to worry about two teams instead of three when the Clippers move to their new home. That said, it’s impressive how they can make the change from hockey to basketball (or vice versa) so quickly!

I feel so stupid. As a kid I used to think Arenas that held multiple Teams had different Areas for all 3 Home Courts or ice. Like you could walk in one tunnel and see Lakers Court then walk in another Tunnel and see Kings hockey each with its own arena. It was only when I got older I realized the Arena was built around one main Floor for teams so they had to share. 😂

In 1981 when I went to my first Lions game and my first time at the Silverdome, I asked my cousin if he could take me to the part of the stadium where the Pistons play and I got the weirdest look lol as he was laughing so hard and told me that the court is put on the football field lol. 42 years later I'm still hearing about it lol.

To get a arena to have profit so do you need a lot of events and for sports so are double headers quite normal in the US. There are several arenas that are shared between NHL and NBA team (and also sometimes WNBA).
