  • We get a lot of vehicles in the shop for free pre-purchase inspections or general inspections to determine all the potential problems and repairs that a vehicle will need and how much those repairs will cost for the owner or potential buyer will have to do to have a safe driving vehicle. This Hyundai has the deadly 1326 code. Brandon shows you just just how bad this code is for your wallet.

I have heard so many horror stories of Hyundai engines lately.
    I bought a 2000 Elantra brand new.
    Solid engine and transmission........well maintained.
    Chassis oiled every year.
After 10 years unibody collapsed from rust.
Bought a poorly maintained 2002 Dodge Caravan in 2011.
    After some work........still got it.

Ouch... I've heard the GDI engines "eat" oil. My buddy got a quote of 26k for an engine replacement for his 2017 Audi S3. The difference is he's been diligent about getting it serviced 😐

Yet all these journalists keep ranking Hyundai as a great manufacturer?! It’s a flipping 2017 model! We all knew they were crap back when they first started making cars. Great to hear nothing has changed. I guess as long as it “looks” cool, they can get away with things?? Wouldn’t be caught dead in a Hyundai. 🤷🏻‍♂️
Hell, even my bro fell for the “marketing “. His first car was a Tiburon (remember those? 😂). He barely owned it for a year when it started giving him issues. He quickly got rid of it and jumped into a Mazda. He’s had Mazdas ever since. 👍🏻😎

No journalists can be trusted because if they give a honest review and list bad things about a company they won’t get anything from that company anymore. There’s no such thing as a honest PR campaign.

I've had a Kia and a Hyundai. No issues. My Ford? Well that's a different story.
