Only if he loses to them... the funny thing if he won the first time he'd probably be complimenting how good he is and saying how great it is that an amateur gets the chance to play with the pro's etc... but obviously he lost and said the opposite.

I know it was slightly unsporting but after Shaun said he shouldn’t have been allowed in the UK championship I think it was justified. Plus snooker players are all so boring, good to see a bit of personality sometimes
Slant should have shook hands and then raised his fist , didn’t need to do that in front of Shaun’s or the refs faces - bet next time Murphy wipes the floor with him - and I think murphy’s comments were taken out of context

Look up what he did to Stephen Maguire years ago when he pathetically got involved in a match between Stephen Maguire and Mark Williams in the 2004 Grand Prix. Murphy managed to get Maguire docked a frame becuase he simply asked the match referee if it was ok to fetch his chalk. Magure went onto beat Williams anyway despire Murphy's pathetic and sneaky underhand antics.

There are many very talented players that are not in the head lights that can beat anyone of the top ranked on their day, And the old "can't do it on the big stage" is getting thinner and thinner as time moves on. But usually it always is a top ranked player that ends up winning the big trophies though... It's no upset anymore to see others get beat out a competition by so called lesser players.

I really wish commentators would just speak to the growing contingent of Chinese players and actually ask them how to pronounce their names. I’ve lived in China for 21 years, it’s not Si (as in ‘sea’), it’s Si (as in a fast ‘sur’). It’s not hard to speak to these players to find out. They’ve been pronouncing Ding Jun Hui’s name wrong for over ten years.
