**EDIT** By the by, Webber gains sanity when feeding spiders meat so use that to your advantage folks! Also, decorating dens prevents them from leveling up to new tiers which means no spider queens either!

Didn't he say the decorations break off when the den aggros? Sure you can just slap em back on for when you aren't spider farming but that can get costly. Im kinda sad they don't stay.
@@justanaverageferret Yes but den aggro doesn’t happen unless a player hurts a spider or bothers a nearby un-decorated den. So long as the dens by the base are decorated then it just seems like players will have to treat the dens and spiders like any other neutral mob in the game.

Taking into consideration how easily the Nurse Spider switcherdoodle can be made, an undying army of nurse spiders seems extremely viable against bosses.
Bosses that don't deal massive AoE damage over and over again mind you.

@@TheBeard777 I checked with abigail, and even with her stunlock, if there's enough of them enough of them get through with heals that you can't kill them.
So unless it's massive AoE dotlike effect they would still be able to heal through it.
Still would struggle against majority tho.

The fact that you can make a nurse spider by yourself, and give spiders armor makes me fill that an army of spiders with the armor+healing could actually carry a boss fight. Dearclops vs an army of spiders video?
The spiders still get one shot and/or perma stun. (I dont speak well English, But im made some tests and the spiders still being so weak to fight any boss)
thatd be interesting if they could survive the freezing and the spiders can outheal the deerclops thatd be the new best way to kill it since you could just stand back
Yeah, most AoE bosses will still destroy spider armies without MAJOR help from Healing Glops or Nurse spiders - or both - so not too sure about that one.
Deerclops? What if you just fool him by surrounding him with a firing squad of spitters.

I just tried ruin rush with Webber, and the whistle worked great at calling down huge amount of cave spiders to help in fights, especially against bishops. However, Webber still default attacks cave spiders when pressing F, not sure if it's a bug.
That almost certainly seems like a bug, it would be odd to only give the F default re-command to one type of spider. :/

The "Silky Speed Boost" may actually be working as intended, as the boost he currently gets negates the amount of speed lost by other characters when they walk on webbing. I don't know if that's always been a thing with Webber, though

Can decorated spider dens turn into a spider queen?
A problem I had when playing old webber was nests around my base would turn into spider queens and despawn eventually.
That's what I wanted to know as well. If not, then I'll have to keep them shaved to tier 2
Decorating seems to prevent the dens from changing tiers even if you try to upgrade them with silk yourself
Pinned comment but no. Decorating dens prevents level ups and I was unsure if it was fully intentional or not at first if I'm honest but I guess it makes sense?

Nice video as always, it helped alot because I didnt know how to craft the spider changers. Another side note it if you shave a den to nothing, two angry spiders pop out ready to attack.
That also means destroying the den so I figured I would leave that out to prevent that from happening! :D

Wow, so many quality of life changes for my boi Webber.
Less trouble with spider civil war, easier time making spider army, can now sleep in dens for sanity and health(saves up glands especially early-game), no need to have spiders attacking nests to reset tiers. Spiderd bein able to be picked up means no need to wait for them as you walk on the road with the walking cane.
Just a whole lot of changes to make a spider farm much more worth the trouble.

The speed boost you get from webbed turf is similar to the roads from hamlet, just because it looks or sounds like your fully on it, doesn't mean the game says you are
I get that and went back to test it and I still didn't experience anything. Lots of little things are broken for some and not others in this update and a ton of tiny inconveniences are popping up too. All good, it will be fixed in due time.
OMG I didn't know Webber can sleep in the nest. I spent a lot of time trying to find grass and make sleeping bag. Tks for creating this video!

I had a world where I had a ice flingo surrounded by nest as my hound protection, but the problem was that every 20 days or so I had to kill all the tier 3s before they queened. Now I can sheer them😁. I suggest this to all Webber mains
