  • Make a motorized stroller rocker / swinger from scratch (~30$ or less), so you don't have to push your baby's stroller all day.

Quick question regarding the motor. In your instructions you say that you use 12v 47rpm version and 33 kg/cm torque, but on Aliexpress for the 47rpm they state only 14 kg/cm. Please help since I really don’t want to buy the wrong one.

@@ijurisic Hi Igor, I just looked at it again, and it still says that the 12V 47RPM motor has a stall torque of 33 kg*cm, see the table here:
      s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DFhwVS7
In any case, the 33kg*cm is definitely an over-kill. I didn't want to go wrong, so I bought a very high torque motor. You can estimate the stroller's weight and use the diameter of the rotating part you're going to use to calculate what kind of torque you're going to need. For example, to accelerate a stroller of 20kg (above average weight with baby inside) at 1 m/sec^2 (typical speed a person shakes a stroller, I measured it) you'll need about 20N of force, or 2kg of force (assuming the wheels have very little friction).
To get to that kind of acceleration with a radius of 10cm you'll need a motor with 20kg*cm torque (that's pretty large actually, I used a small one). This is almost everything you need to pick a motor, I didn't talk about RPM, that's related to the acceleration, but I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have more questions.
