How is it that this guy has been around since the 90s, draws staggering crowds to his live shows, and I've never heard of him until this past year? Was he just unknown in the USA? I am just barely older than his core demographic, but I think his stuff is great. How was I unaware of his work for decades?
He use to be in a group called Take That who were big in the UK and Europe. His fame in Take That carried on into his solo career. Having hits also helped.
you have to see him at knebworth. because the crowd is much better because there are no smartphones and the crowd sing and bounce with him. it just looks amazing.
