Wow! My favorite video so far. I love the scenic views with the drones and peaceful music. So professional! Great job!
Thanks so much tumblers and thanks for watching I really appreciate it!
Yes!!!!!!! DUANE IS BACK!!! So good to see your video pop up buddy. Looks like a beautiful spot. Sweet truck topper by the way.
I am!!! Heading out again tomorrow. I’m pretty much planning on going out every weekend now. All the kids are out of high school and adults now (well a couple more weeks for the youngest) and I’m going to use that super pacific to the fullest!!! Thanks for sticking around Steve I really appreciate it!
@@dustyroaddestinations how exciting to be using your free time to go explore. Just like all of your content, very inspiring. Looking forward to more of it.
Thanks so much! 👍🏻
I hate it when the cooking gas is gone. But those things help build a pack list for the next time.
Yeah and when I grab the tank I was like "that sure feels light" - fortunately I did have a backup stove fuel. I have to remember to get it filled before I head back out again tomorrow - or maybe tonight! 😀
Nicely done!
Thanks Chris I really appreciate you saying that!
Home sweet home away from home. I must have driven right past you at your second camping location.
It was a nice little spot. Did you see me there??? The Super Pacific is working out really nicely!
I enjoyed this video. 🎥✌🏼
Thanks for checking it out. I really appreciate the feedback and that means a lot. Thanks man! 👍🏻
@@dustyroaddestinations see you on the dusty trails!
Soon my friend!!! 🏕️
🤗❤️🏞🏕🛻
Thank you for watching and the continued support Cindy! Very much appreciated!
how are you liking the super pacific x1 ? currently torn between a gfc v2 and x1 !
I am really liking it. The attention to detail and the pre-made configuration is great. Also love the lash points and how much room you have on the side doors. This one is perfect for what I was looking for. I watched a bunch of videos on it plus some gfc to sp migrations. Maybe the V2 eliminated that I’m not sure. I did see a GFC at a local rigs and coffee and it was nice. Hopefully you can crawl through the different ones to see them in person. I was luckily enough to go to the Super Pacific and Rhino Adventure Gear in San Diego team up and got to see like 18 different rigs. The owners were really cool about letting me crawl around their setups and ask tons of questions. That is what finally did it for me. If there are any questions I can answer please ask!
@@dustyroaddestinationsappreciate the response !
If we’re in a similar area I’d def let you check it out. You really need to see them in person especially for the investment.
Also… what radio do you have hooked up to that nice antenna?
It's a Yaesu FTM-300DR 50 watt mobile. It has the mars mod so I can also transmit and rx on GMRS frequencies and others. The antenna is a Comet CA-2x4SRB that is turned for VHF, UHF, GMRS, and FRS. So I have a Amateur/HAM and a GMRS license. There are a lot of GMRS and a TON of HAM repeaters out there - on HAM a lot of them are interconnected so you can talk from like San Diego to Sacramento or even multi-states depending on the network. Most of those do "require" memberships to help pay for the infrastructure.
@@dustyroaddestinations wow! You have a ham license? I have studied a few times on getting my Technician license but for some reason I always chicken out. Gmrs I have.. but it’s not quite as fun. I have a little Bowfang that I just scan channels on but can not talk.. radios are awesome and a lost art. Stoked guys like you are keeping the hobby alive.
What I ended up doing was one of those online study apps that has all the questions from the test - I spent a week or so before the test just going over the practice tests and then when I took it I missed 1 question. If I had to take it again today I think I'd fail it. yeah radios are really great for comms. I won't list my callsign here because that basically would be doxing myself...
If you get a chance check out my latest, I changed this up a little bit and would love your feedback! Hope things are going well Steven!
@@dustyroaddestinations dude! Looking forward to it. Get a lunch break in 30 minutes.. I want to enjoy it in peace..
