- My first try on a multitrack recording with the GoPro on my trombone. The piece is the famous trombone fanfare aka Sonic Boom aka Snake Pit, arranged by James Ganson.

As a trumpet and euphonium player I always get amazed of how you trombonist remember every slide position. And atop of that it is always fun to watch videos of people that do music covers and concerts. Overall trombones are awesome. The fact that this is coming from a person who plays valve instruments.👌👌💯💯

Jacob Greene I play trombone, I’m in marching band so I have to remember all the side positions while remembering where to go on the field and step in time all together and I have ADHD. I even have to take medicine for it. ADHD hasn’t made it any harder.

Haha, no, not anymore - I've deactivated all beeps and lights on the gopro.

Hey, I am a trumpet player; (you know the loud and obnoxious instruments) and I was wondering even though you are a trombone player, could you give me any advice on how to double tongue? I've been playing for a year now! Thank you!
If you don't mind, I can share some advice. For double tonguing, its utilizing the syllables ta and ka, or da and ga. Ta and Da are at the front of your mouth, while Ka and Ga are towards the back. To practice, try double tonguing your scales using those syllables. I personally prefer the Ta/Ka variation, but whether or not you use Ta/Ka, or Da/Ga is up to you. Hope this helped. 😊
Nice job! I am my marching band's low brass section leader and this piece is always one of my favorites to do. Is there any way that you can let me know how you set up your GoPro because I would really like to do this while I'm marching.

What software dos u use to record the audio
No software, it's the sound from the gopro video. I edited it with Adobe Premiere Pro.
How did you mount the gopro to the slide? Im about to make a trombone video kinda like this and dont know the best way to do it with out using a adhesive mount
I use the gopro handlebar mount and a piece of foam to protect the slide and for better grip. As case for the gopro I use the frame - it's much lighter and the sound will be better.

Hey I'm just Been playing trombone for 8 weeks any tips or tricks to help me get better?
Do you have a teacher? He/she should know what's best for you.
As you're still working on the basics, I'd recommend to things for now:
1. Play some easy pieces to get to know the positions really well and 2. Listen to your sound and try to get a 'big' and clear sound with good breathing and listening to your intonation.

Ich habe eine Aufnahme mit Metronom gemacht und dann zu dieser gespielt - deshalb auch die Kopfhörer.

The camera zooming takes away from the playing. Nice otherwise. (Trombone and Baritone horn player).
