Primer is NOT hydrophilic it is Amphiphilic. Primer contains HEMA which has 2 parts one part is hydrophilic ( The hydroxyl group (-OH)) which interacts with the moist dentin AND the other part methacrylate group (-C=C-)is hydrophobic which interacts with the bonding agent czcams.com/video/osTqm9aOf4U/video.html
