Burberry Touch is what really got me into fragrance. Its still my favorite scent. The longevity on my skin is insane. When i get warmed up it just jumps off. Soapy clean.
You're right abut both Touch and 40 Knots. Both are amazing. I think Touch is one of the best buys out there, and I agree, you can wear it any time of the year, time of the day and any situation. My last week: Sun- Dunhill Icon, Mon- Amouage Beach Hut Man, Tues- Xerjoff Renaissance, Wwed- Acqua di Parma Oud, Thurs- Nishane Ege, Fri- Amouage Boundless, Sat- 40 Knotts (for me, perfect anytime!).

I think a great salty blue fragrance is polo deep blue deep blue Parfum. If you haven’t tried it, it’s salty, very fresh and has a great mineral note to my nose.

Totally agree about the D and G Light Blue Intense.. on my skin it does smell “aquatic”- like I’m working in a fish market. 😂🤣 However, the Italian Love version is incredible and was the only fragrance that I was truly “chased down” over at a grocery store. The lady even asked me to find a pic of the bottle online and text the fragrance name to her husband so that he could wear it. Hahaha
I’m with you, most aquatics come across odd or eggy on my skin. Love Burberry Touch and AdG Absolu, but absolutely hated Joop Wow Fresh. Got rid of it immediately.

Great Vid Gerard, specific for the heat wave, you know, one thing Ive been noticing is when I drink more than 3 lts of water, my smell bubble is more notable, specially in the hot weather, so id recommend drink a lot of water thru the day, 1 litter just when you wake up and so on, got 5 different Light blue, and the best for me of my collection is beauty of capri, nice to chat with you G!
I can see this being true. The more hydrated you are the slower your skin will absorb the fragrance. You might be onto something here. Good idea to hydrate regardless people!

... we had a cool day here in Ontario and I got a chance to wear my other favorite Burberry, that being London. I always thought of Touch being closer to Gentlemen Only/Gentlemen EDT or a Prada l'Homme then an Aqva or an ADG. My new bottle of Touch is much the same as the one I finished off back in April. Preforms as good as my old bottle. ... bought the new K EDP intense. Love it but I also love the EDT. It's a sweeter version of the original, but a delicate sweet. Not candy or bubblegum sweet. Definitely pick up on the fig and leather. Also wore YSL Ultime and Bvlgari pour homme again.
Ultime is one I've always wanted to try. I will definitely check out K EDP Intense now that sounds excellent. I love fig and leather together. The OG John Varvatos does the same thing.
@@gerardgeorge I don't remember Varvatos being a spicy fragrance. The listed notes are saffron, fig and leather. The opening feels like a richer, luxurious version of the EDT. The fig adds a bit of sweetness without turning the scent into candy. The leather is closer to guerlain than it is to tom ford.

Dua has a clone of Amara for anyone interested. Never smelled the original or Dua's, but not sure there are any other imiitations.
