Sakuragi's character development reminded me of Joe Yabuki. Joe hated boxing like Sakuragi hated Basketball. Joe wanted to get back at Rikishi while Sakuragi only wanted to make Haruko like him. In the end, they grew to love the sport and couldn't bear losing it. Joe gave it all against Mendoza. Sakuragi realized he wasn't just playing for Haruko. He genuinely loved the sport and feared he couldn't play again. Meanwhile Character development is non existent on inferior sports manga like Hajime no ippo lol
Haruko es el peor personaje de la serie lejosss, es increíble q teniendo un tipo que esta enamorado de alla y dispuesto a todo por estar juntos va y se fija es el otro tipo que no le da ni la hora y q básicamente no sabe de su existencia... sencillamente es el peor tipo de mujer posible. Y si bien tiene momentos buenos junto a hanamichi son opacados por este tipo de actitudes... sus amigas eran mejores personajes q ella! Ayako por ejemplo no le corresponde a miyagi pero no anda atras de otro bobo que no vale la pena por eso y mas cosas ella es el mejor personaje femenino de la serie. Es una pena que el creador no alla agregado a una chica q entrara en la vida de hanamichi y que lo quiera como el lo merece...
