- Yesterday was the last time a "Springbok" played at Newlands. The oldest stadium in South Africa has a rich history and we tried to pick the 10 greatest Springbok victories at Newlands. Which match do you remember most fondly?
Enjoy and thanks for watching! - Sport
That Danie Gerber try where he gets the 2 Irish defenders to run into each other.... brings new meaning to the phrase: Self defence!
The Greatest Springbok to wear the no 13 jersey!
@@catholicrugbyfan1635 and surely one of the best worldwide centers ever.
@@annefilippobertozzi7601 Hi Anne and Filippo Bertozzi. My number one centre pairing is Danie Gerber and Philippe Sella of France.
Newlands will be missed. I have such fond memories at the old lady.
Andre Joubert was definitely the ROLLS ROYCE of full backs ! Go BOKKE !!
Hi Geoff, my top two Springbok full - backs of all time HO de Villiers and Andre Joubert.
You do God's work with these vids...
Love your videos!!!!

Naas is baas... einde van storie ... the greatest flyhalf of all time.
Beslis!!
Nasty Booter and Danie Gerber. We all learned rugby from these guys. Never forget Divan Serfontein, my idol.
18:40 Naas kicking it over in the wet from the line with no kicking tee. Unreal.
Hi Hammersteyn, the greatest conversion since St Paul.
Imagine Naas with today's kicking tees and rugby balls
@@willemkotze2611 Hi Willem, the Greatest "kicking" no 10 to wear the Green and Gold jersey. My favourite will always be Keith Oxlee. My passion for the game of rugby dates back to the day I saw Springbok flyhalf Keith Oxlee work his magic for Natal against my home team, Border in the 60's.
thumb looks like Joost is running with a broken ankle and Michael Lynagh is like 😲OMG
Tom van Vollenhoven was my help.....ek was maar 10 jaar oud.....,
The old flag still means a lot to me......politics excluded....
1976, back when the Springboks refused to play against coloured players so half the starting all blacks were left at home.
we kiwis should remember that it takes two to tango. The NZRU could have told the boks to stick their policy and their test series you know where.. instead, we became not only complicit, but complicit losers, by leaving out top line players. lesson learned: if you're going to sell out your morals, do it in a way that actually helps your team rather than hinders them...
