There's a great story in Yogananda's "Autobiography of a Yogi" where a desperate soul has fled to the Himalayas to find Mahavatar Babaji. Miraculously he comes upon Babaji's band encamped there. He demands that Babaji take him as a disciple, stating emphatically that if Babaji rejects him that he will jump to his death from the cliff. Babaji says, "jump then", which he does. Then Babaji raises him from the dead and makes him an immortal: instantaneous karmic nullification by the Hand of God.

Im confused by your confusion, lol. In order to heal others you must first know the source of illness and have experience in what its like to heal. Therefore heal thyself first, become your own medicine then you will properly pass it onto and help others.

This was taught by Indian Siddhas, Rishis long back and is available as one of the oldest literature. The same was taught by Jesus in one of the purest form available today. The same was taught by Buddha. There are many paths leading to the same and one God.

Maybe it's my own interpretation, but he surely has something reminding me about that strong Christian discipline, cleanliness, purity and simplicity common among the pure hearted priests. What happens after liberation after all this Kriya is practicdd and mastered? Is there the next phase of existence as in, the next level in a video game, where we advance to a level beyond Maya which has its new challenges? Or is it the end of the video game of Maya and that is it?
Kriya until Samadhi, then after that, only Samadhi. Once you reach the goal, the technique is no longer needed. ॐ
