This project marked the return of the Biesemeyer fence which hadn't been seen since the old Rockwell Unisaw was replaced at the end of season 7.
Gotta love Norm's craftsmanship. He's made beautiful pieces.
I knew an old couple with chairs like these. They were very comfortable. Great project. So glad you post these. Thanks Norm & Russ!
Love this show. Thank you for continuing to post these!
Beautiful craftsmanship
This is the last episode in its entirety with version 2 of the Workshop Hutch.

This is another great video Norm!!
Another good one.
The chair is just begging for a cup holder hole! 🙂
@4:49, this reminded me of a scene from MASH, where Frank and Hotlips are meeting with a local craftman about getting something made. He hands Frank a board and he says 'It looks like a 2x4" and the local says "Thank you it was round" or something similar. Gotta get to a good starting point for a good project :)
Awesome chair. I might riff on this and extend it out to make a bench.
Norm built the bench first in Season 2 😀:

Funny that I didn’t catch that myself. I saw the bench episode and even bought the plans, not realizing that they were associated. Thank for letting me know. 👍🏻
Great build! Unfortunately buying cypress these days is out of most people’s budget.
Russ, I have a question about the rectangular glass in the shop door: what design did Norm choose for the etching, and what is the name of it?
