He posted to instagram an hour ago saying he scored it exactly like the judge who scored it 113-113. So now hes giving Wilder the 1st, 6th & 7th along with the 9th & 12th. When before he said 4 rounds for Wilder would be a draw
@@paavola2 It could. You could strongly argue that was a 10-9 round, but I don't think 10-8 is out of the realm of possibility. I have no idea how he got up from that, let alone he didn't seem to wobble even for a second or seem affected at all. It was incredible.
But, if you give both rounds with a knockdown a score of 10-8, and you give wilder 2 rounds on to of that, as Brendan said, Fury still wins the fight on points by 2. Wilder needs 1 more round to even it out. The problem, and reason people are screaming robbery, is one judge didn't call it a draw, he called it 114-111 Wilder, meaning not only did wilder win two 10-8 rounds, and the 3 mentioned before to make them even for a draw, but 2 MORE rounds on top of that. He has Wilder winning SEVEN rounds, and scoring two of them a 10-8. That just isn't a fair score here, and if Brendan and Brian want to reinvent the wheel on how boxing is scored, fine, but what they're describing here in giving them a draw isn't even remotely accurate in how the judges scored the fight or how they're supposed to and it really doesn't make sense.
Sorry for the long rant but yes, you could argue that, easily.

He still should address how one judge had it 114-111 Wilder and how that isn't a robbery. Just because you agree with a draw doesn't mean how the judges got to that draw doesn't matter any more.

Going into the 12th round Wilder needed a knockout to win it. In the end all he got was a knockdown. Everyone knew he needed a knockout, the fact the Fury got up won him the fight. The cherry on top for fury was winning the rest of the 12th round. Mad respect to Deontay for trying, but don't take a deserved win away for selfish reasons.

Aaron Harnwell in what world was the first knockdown 10-8? It was to the back of the head and it was all he did in the whole round... if even argue that the Second knock down wasn’t 10-8. It was a brutal knockdown but he did not dominate the round

It's not fighting. It's boxing and Fury won. Score cards are there if you can't put someone out for 10. And Wilder won 2 rounds, maybe 3 including the 10-8 knock downs. That's not enough when Fury won 9 rounds, most likely 10. Whoever scored 15-11 should be investigated.

I'm open to hearing any good arguments as to why to why the match should have been a draw or should have been a win for Wilder, so far I haven't heard any. The two main ones I've heard are _"Even if Fury won the other rounds, those knockdowns alone were enough"_ and _"The ref saved him, he get up after 10 seconds",_ both of those are untrue.
PrimeTime Pugilistics The count was very close. Timing it with a stopwatch I get about 9.7 or 9.8 (I've seen other videos showing the same thing), just under 10 seconds. But the ref was about 0.8 behind in the count, so on his count it was 9. Some people have said that was because the ref was telling Wilder to go to the opposite corner, but I don't know if that's true or not. I don't blame Fury for taking full advantage of the count after those punches, and either way it was still just under 10 seconds. Also, the ref was seeing him getting up just fine. He wasn't on wobbly legs. I think it's a good thing it wasn't stopped. About a minute later he was back to putting his hands behinds his back, as if it never happened. Crazy to see. In my opinion I still think Fury won the fight, and I still have a lot of respect for Wilder.
Not to mention the fact that fury finished both the rounds stronger 2 knockdowns don't give you a draw after winning every round.

Not only is Schaub wrong about the fight, he’s also wrong about why the Chiefs released Hunt. First of all he didn’t get banned. Second he got released because he lied to the chiefs about the incident and didn’t tell them the whole story.
