Im from NYC and this is disgusting, this was a new tax on Drivers. Now it is going to cost parking issues in other boros where people will drive to train and park their cars close to the train, and there solution is to make Residents pay for parking permits. So I should have to pay for a parking permit because of your stupid Idea that you did not think through. We should not have to pay anything to cross a tax paying bridge that is already funded by taxes. NYC Politicians are acting like Mobsters, This is a money grab and an extortion of the peoples funds.
Why should I have to pay you a car payment every month now from something that has always been free.
NYC is worse than California. it is out of control.

It is disgusting. NJ towns do have commuter parking at the NJ transit stations. My town has two stations. One has a decent lot, the other a multideck parking garage. Of course this is for an additional fee on top of the expensive commuted pass, which is hundreds of dollars a month. Not all towns have parking to leave the car in NJ due to space. NJ is the most densely populated state is US and it’s very built up. Hell even the deer have no where to live but in our yards.

Another option would be to tax any NY state resident who drives into NJ/suburban area and put that money into improving the NYC transit system to make it something commuters want to use and can safely, efficiently do so. NY drivers are terrorizing our roads, blocking the left lanes, being reckless and agressive, causing crashes. So sick of this bad behavior.
