Do they restrict published 3rd party builds from using LSP branding? About pricing, I think they should keep it fairly cheap to make a good impression on first time users. Around 10 to 20 bucks for subsets of plugins, with a discount for the complete suite. They also need much better demos of the plugins to have any chance at selling them. Right now it still looks like something a few hobbyists cobbled together.
Yeah but ZynFusion builds are $45+.
Nice to see there are still people porting software to legacy platforms!
Jokes aside, as great as LSP plugins are, there's no way they're going to be a commercial success in the crowded Windows market. They're just too straightforward and generic.
The kind of enthusiasts who might use them can also likely compile the software themselves. People might buy it as a way of donating to the project though, like some do with Ardour.
Perhaps straightforward and generic, but also extensive and high quality.
@@_DRMR_ Yes, like I said they're great. But doing exactly what they're supposed to makes them hard to market. People already have bread and butter tools on Windows, they buy weird plugins.
I think the right price for a plugin is dependent on:
a) specialty (like the roomdesigner)
b) GUI and usefulness of it
c) task demandment (like the latencymeter)
I mean I looked at their EQs and most stock EQ's deliver the same while the latency tools could be handy and Beat Breather and Roomdesigner are pretty interesting.
The EQ goes incredible in-depth down to like half a dozen filter types, option to toggle minimum and linear-phase etc. Also you can pitchshift the EQ for specjal effects using automation
Hello i'm afnu, i'm a music producer and i only use proprietary software
Oh no, my evil twin found me! Go away!
lmao
Ardour is $1 minimum for buying Executables... $0 when building from source... :)
$0 if it's already in a distro's software center too.
@@aneveningwithebola2727 In this specific case… min $1.00… because Windows… XD
We've got multiple options in terms of high quality free and oss plugins nowadays. That's great!!
This is really interesting for me since I am using Ableton Live on Windows(for some reason Ardour never worked for me) but all my other tools are free and open source and even though there are a few great synthesizers I haven't found a good set of audio effects so far. I believe a minimun donation of $1 like Ardour would be great and maybe a $5 minimum for all ? The question is would this buy you some kind of licence or just an executable? Also is VST supported ? Looking forward :)
Hey unfa, I remember seeing a video of yours, and I'm pretty sure there was a plugin for fixing clipping in audio tracks. Do you know what I'm talking about? I did searching and couldn't find it again. (Maybe it was a dream...lol)
I hope lsp creator is doing fine
Lovecraftian Studio Plugins 🐙 ehehe
Hello
I have your 48khz impulse from freesound
Do you have a 96khz impulse or 192khz impulse?
How did you make it in audacity? I would love to know!
Thanks
Hey! I didn't make any other ones, but if you import it into Audacity and change the sampling rate of the track - it'll be exactly what you want.
The Dirac impulse in this case is just a single audio sample of value 1, where all the rest are of value 0 (digital silence). That's it!
Hey man. I really like your content. Please can u make a review on the Studio One for the Limux? It isn’t the open source program but I want to hear your opinion for the Linux version of it. You can download a demo version of it.
Hey, sorry but non-libre software is outside of my scope. I think some people on my community chat have experience with running Studio One on Linux. Maybe Ask there? They could tell you how it went. I think I event recently seen someone showing screenshots. We have a #proprietary-purgatory channel for non-free software topics ;)

@@unfa00thanks for your answer.
Hello everyone. I'm intended to play my keyboard with some softwares as ableton live, kontakt, but... is it possible for me to do so using Free softwares? I'm using Ubuntu LTS and I dont miss nothing in Windows. Thanks!
Hey, certainly - it is possible :)
I'd recommend you go to my community chat and say what you need there, people will help you out!

I recently started using them (i was used to calf studio gear before). As a long time linux user, i think it's okay to have linux in the name :D it's not like the other ones don't do it. and if it can liberate one or two people out of the windows jail, then it's good.
So have they come to windows? I can't see downloads or install instructions. I use these with linux so I'd like to test the windows versions!
I think that's not released yet. I think you can build the Windows versions from git, but I'd guess they aren't considered stable yet, so no official release. But LSP is moving forward, so it's bound to come :)
I also have a windows machine i can not "liberate" and this is good news, whatever the price it will be worth it.
Too bad they don’t also make vst instruments…..I could be wrong but I feel there are not many good vst instrument plugins made specifically for Linux.
LSP has a suite of audio samplers (and q signal generator), so technically there are instruments as well :)
Unfa is moving to windows 11😂
That’d be a horror even if he’d be a fan of win10.
I'd have to loose completely my marbles.
@@unfa00 The verb in your title says "Coming", and not "going". This means, from perspective, you're at Windows.
