Thanks for this video. I struggle is eat well as i work fpr fedex and am on road all day esting out most of the time and i love meat tbh but want to try to change my diet. One step at a time

Great video. I'd like to know if the spices mentioned in the get your daily doses section of the video work just as effectively if they are used as spices in food or do they have to be put in a glass of water and had separately to have benefit?

@@sofiasurreal. Sorry for the late response, as I just saw your comment. I started adding apple cider vinegar to my cooking. And have gone oil-free in my cooking. Take some getting used to but it's been good so far.

Dr Greger is a very accomplished MD and has groundbreaking research, but I prefer and follow Dr Fuhrman's #Nutritarian guidelines. All in all they both agree, but Dr Fuhrman is more thorough into what nutrients to eat imo.

Try to make sure your sleep is still deep, even if the hours are different. Also include naps, and other relaxing practices e.g. meditation, etc.

For more rapid weight loss, all flours and breads should be avoided.
@Orange Willy That can be used in moderation - very useful for making baking falafels. The main point is to not center meals around flour, and to minimise.
Best to deflour your diet while trying to lose weight. I don’t always, but I try to as much as I can.

Burning fat is not the same as fat loss. You are simply using fat for energy. Calorie deficit is the only way. It is the law of thermodynamics
You are what you eat.
Obesity in children and adults is rising across the world.
Eat a healthy plant based diet and exercise regularly.
Reduce or eliminate cows milk, eggs, cheese and meat. Eat more salad greens, beans, fruit and vegetables.
Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly.
Regular exercise will help you sleep better.
Obesity is all too common today. Get off the couch. Get off the phone, ipad or video game.
Ride to work, ride to school, ride for fun.
Every city should be a bicycle city.
Speak up for bicycles in your community
Some good, some bad. Some with scientific proof others with none.

Number 4 was so funny to watch. The only way to lose fat is to be in a calorie deficit, having these little 'magical' things won't do Jack. And you can't magically boost your metabolism
Hi Dalen, did you try it out? Note that these recommendations are based on Dr. Greger's book. His mission in life is to do research on the existing research related to nutrition so that he can provide the best evidence on how to eat in the most healthy ways. And it seems there is a lot of evidence that those ingredients mentioned under point 4 have a positive impact on your metabolism. Suggest you check it out before jumping to a conclusion.

This video completely misses the most crucial point of Dr.Greger's book: adhering to a Whole-Food Plant-Based diet. Over half of the book is devoted to demonstrating this with detailed scientific evidence. The 10 "tips" are merely additional tweaks to further boost the weight loss effects of a WFPB diet. Sure looks like whoever made this video did not read the book, resulting in a gross misrepresentation of Dr. Greger's work! The video even includes images of animal products and junk food... FAIL
Raven, I understand what you’re saying but I’m pretty sure 90% of people watching this video are already eating a whole food plant based diet.
I read the book. I just do not find veganism to be a long term solution for me. I do respect all his body of work, especially his analysis of vegetables and spices. I am a whole food omnivore. So I do appreciate this video.
