Ben Alanis thanks 👍 the upper ball joints are off a gbody, from Napa auto parts, Napa house brand also known as “unbreakable” the uppers are extended 1-1/4” and the coils are 3.5 ton up front and 2.5 pre cuts out back. 👍
You dont need to have paint without binder in it. The raptor liner website says its fine with the binder in the basecoat. Thats what my local paint shop said here in central oregon.

Red Rocket 64 gotcha prob gonna do my Belly raptor liner mixed with base coat cause I want it to hold up for years of clowning lol but imma do my trunk the color splatter factory grey cause I’ll have a chrome and painted setup
Yes, red pad, lightly. Side note, the epoxy in the trunk has a 72 hour window for top coat, No need for scuff if your still in that window, hope that helps 👍
@@RedRocket64 awesome! I epoxied the shell after media blast last year so scuffing definitely needed. I have seen some guys sanding with 120 grit. I feel that is pretty aggressive. Yours still has good adhesion I imagine?

Ben Alanis I used the SPI epoxy primer I’ve used on the whole car, the bottom took the the whole 4 liter kit reduced 10% 👍
Did you epoxy the inside of the trunk or did you 2k primer it or sealer?
J boy Jboy Scuffed/sanded epoxy then tintable raptor, hope that helps 👍

Dan Dorris Hell of a car! Cup Wire wheel on angle grinder to remove old crud, then 80 grit sand paper, epoxy then raptor.

Blaec 405 You don’t have to prep as much as base coat/clear coat. You do have to scuff and make sure there is no bare metal before you spray.
