Havana Private Outside Deck and Bar on Carnival Celebration

- In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren goes on a tour of Carnival Celebration's Havana Bar and Private Havana sun deck & pool.
This area of the ship is identical or nearly identical on Mardi Gras (and in the future, Jubilee).
To get access to the outside Havana area/bar/pool, you have to book a Havana cabin which are found in the interior, balcony, and suite cabin categories.

Great camera work. Didn't feel like you moved the camera too fast. I agree with some about the smallness of the Havana area. Looks completely "squeezed" together tightly as compared to the Horizon and Vista. Thanks for sharing your video!
Thanks so much! I get the opposite comment on my buffet videos (that I go too fast) because it's hard to show all the food at the right pace while hungry people try to pass me in line lol.

Good choice! I love Havana on Vista Class. They ruined it on Excel Class.
Yeah, after looking down on the Havana pool on the Horizon last month we decided to look into a Havana "room" on the Jubilee. Nope. Definitely not worth it.
I just sailed on the Venezia and stayed in the Terrazza Cabins with access to the Terrazza Deck and it was nice and spacious, the Havana space seems really small on this ship/
It is! I did a full review on Havana when I was on Horizon (czcams.com/video/ZtpSW9IOQ9E/video.html)and most of what I talked about is that on Vista class (Vista, Horizon, Panorama) Havana is excellent but on Excel class (Mardi Gras, Celebration, Jubilee) it's garbage.
So I don't recommend booking Havana on Celebration if that's what brought you here. It's very unfortunate that Carnival ruined the Havana outside area on the Excel class ships.
I LOVE the Havana on vista. This is disappointing. Maybe they’ll change it for the jubilee but I doubt it lol
They already have most of Jubilee’s deck plan published, so we’re not going to see a change on her. But hopefully they’ll improve it on the next ship class!
Yes the Havana area on the vista was much better. My wife and I just got off the Mardi Gras although it was a beautiful ship the Havana area pool was very underwhelming in comparison to the vista. We were absolutely disappointed
Very disappointing Havana on this ship won’t be booking so thank you for the tour. Its not worth worth the extra cost.
Agreed! It was WONDERFUL on Vista/Horizon/Panorama (and looks like it will be the same on Venizia). Not worth the cost on Excel class. 🤷♀️
I was at the Carnival Vista a few years ago, and the entrance to the pool in Havana was free for all guests after 6:00 pm... it's still like that?
They changed the open-to-all access several years ago sadly. Now it’s Havana guests only 24 hours a day. (Exception: on Vista class ships, Grand Suite guests also have access.)

I liked the look of the Havana Bar but not sure the outside space was big enough. What’s the price difference of a Havana vs standard cabin?
I think it’s big enough for the amount of people. But, I don’t like that they didn’t put in hot tubs. The Havana space was better on Vista class.
It’s about $300 more for interior; $800 more for a balcony cabin.
Is it my imagination? This "pool" seems like it would fit maybe 10 people?
Accurate! Havana is better on the Vista Class ships. I'd never recommend doing it on an Excel Class ship.

100% agree! My theory is that Carnival saw that people loved Havana on the other ships and purposely moved it to a less desirable location so they could make more money on forward facing cabins. They did the same thing with spa Interior cabins on this class and sort of with Family Harbor as well.
It really is a shame. And no hot tub??!

You’ll actually want to look at loft 19 and the Excel Suites. That’s a better parallel to Haven. Havana was a way to charge more for a few cabins or something.
Ooo look up my video of the Aft Excel suite on Mardi Gras (also found on Celebration and Jubilee). That’s the one everyone wants and it has access to Loft 19.
