- In this episode of Lauren of All Trades... Lauren goes on a tour of Carnival Jubilee's Havana Bar and Private Havana sun deck & pool.
This area of the ship is identical or nearly identical on Mardi Gras and Celebration, but is a lot different from the same named area on Vista, Horizon, and Panorama.
To get access to the outside Havana area/bar/pool, you have to book a Havana cabin which are found in the interior, balcony, and suite cabin categories.

Thank you for a very informative video🚢
Thank you. Keep these videos up. Great work!
Thanks for watching!
We stayed in Havana on the Celebration, the outdoor section was never crowded so we could always get good seats or loungers. Private bathroom/changing room and private towel counter for the plunge pool. The bartenders where hit or miss, running back and fourth between inside and outside , but they were very friendly , The plunge pool is NOT heated, so it was freezing the entire trip and pretty much unusable ....a hot tub would have been a better choice or at least thow some heat in the pool . We had an interior room and it was very nice and spacious , loved the Havana décor and the location was a straight walk to a lot of bars and restaurants . Overall we really enjoyed that section and found it well worth the extra cost.
Thanks for your feedback!
Not to mention, if you get a Havana room on the same side as the bar, they close off the bar a lot for special events and have bands playing in there. It's kind of a short cut to the rooms through there so you have to walk around and it's very loud. And yes, not to mention, no hot tub in the area.
I didn't even consider how access to the cabins from other areas of the ship could be affected by the operation of the bar. I agree - I would hate having to go around.
We got home from our Jubilee cruise on Saturday. We’ve never stayed in a Havana cabin but I’ve always thought about it. We had a balcony room on the lido deck #16242. We could see directly onto the Havana porches. I’m with you, don’t think I want a Havana cabin anymore. Our top pick is a standard balcony on the lido deck - especially if they have only a plunge pool which I didn’t know until now. With that said, we LOVED the Jubilee!
I also loved Jubilee! If you go on Vista, Horizon, or Panorama, I recommend giving Havana a try. (My deep dive and review of Havana on Horizon: czcams.com/video/ZtpSW9IOQ9E/video.html)
So I have a Havana room from a tba balcony on horizon in August. I wanted to see the difference. I have a cruise on celebration next year. I wanted to upgrade possibly. I don’t think it’s worth it 🫤
I'm so jealous of your TBA Havana cabin on Horizon! But no, I wouldn't bother to upgrade to Havana on Celebration. I upgraded to a Spa cabin instead of Havana on Jubilee so that I had better access to a hot tub all cruise, albeit an indoor one.
@@laurenofalltrades we did spa balcony on mardi gras. She didn't use much of the spa features. Maybe twice. I might do the spa, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you 😊
