Been interested in seeing and hearing about how these particular Hobbywing combos fare. So far they soud promising. I just got mine in for a Tyhon to Senton 6s conversion. Being short wheelbase, I'm hoping it won't struggle to power it. I do have aluminum bulkheads and suspension blocks for it, which may offset the weight near what a stock Kraton is. Hopefully not. Bought a 40mm fan and aluminum C clamp type mount for it. Hopefully that will keep the motor cool. Nice to see these in a Kraton functioning. Hopefully it's still working for you. 👍
Cool video, I race 1/8 rc truggy and buggy. Gonna get this combo to try in my race truggy. Everyone runs sensored motor esc combos, but I think they are over-rated for offroad racing.
I've read that this combo does a good job at managing low speed like a sensored motor and I have to agree, probably not as good as a sensored motor but it does well. I am going to post another video talking about the new punch settings I applied with the program card, big gains.
I haven't had a chance to use the program card yet so I cannot recommend it yet. Once I have a chance to use it and can confirm it is the correct program card for this ESC I will send you the link and post an update video.
Hobbywing claims of the programming interface via the button being removed due to user errors is a flatout lie. We've been able to program ESCs via the power button for 20+ years, and it's never been an issue. The reality is they want you to spend money on a program card or the LCD G2 program box. Both the 2000kv and 2600kv combos are INCREDIBLY cheap, and nothing can touch them for the money. I'm okay with HW wanting to sell some program cards because these systems are priced so cheap, but don't be disingenuous about it. With the newer G2 and G2S ESCs, they now include built-in Bluetooth to program via your phone, so the use of program cards is on borrowed time. The only ESCs requiring a card are these lower end ESCs, but don't let that term fool you, they are fantastic ESCs.
I purchased this combo with the 2000kv motor, it came with the program card so no downsides.
I put the 2200 kv combo in my Maxx v1 . Bolts right in and works awesome

Great esc for the money. Been running weekly forca dew months and has been solid 👌
Nice video bro your got yourself a new subscriber. I just picked one of these up. Excited to put it in something lol idk what yet.
Glad you found it useful, I don't plan on posting a lot just when I find some useful info to share

I think that I'm going to get this combo for my TC syncro 4. I think that I damaged the stock 4s esc 😮
hey , thought about buying that combo for my Kraton 6s... speaking of speed , is it faster , slower than the stock 2050kv with standard pinion ?
I would say it’s faster, I’m happy with it. Make sure to get the program card to turn the punch and brake up
You have a link or part number for that fan on motor?
I think this combo is kinda weak for a kraton. My kraton exb uses a max 6 & 4092 1650kv & it rips like a beast
Can you link the program card.

@ThatDustin I appreciate it bro.
