    Anybody know if the info here would hold true when comparing the the 2018 and newer Kodiak 450 to a newer KQ500? Thanks!

    Excellent video sir! I do feel like the Suzuki does get passed over a bit simply because it's body isn't as interesting as the Yamahas. That said, if you're finding the weak points doing the same riding, maybe it's a justified miss. These 2 models in the 700-750 would probably be what I would look at if I were looking at a new ATV.
    Where were you riding at in this video? Or was it a bunch of places?

      Hey Rodney. Thoughtful feedback. Mostly at Brown Mountain OHV in Lenoir, NC, a few shots at a trail off the Blue Ridge Parkway that has since been closed.

    Just bought a 2018 kingquad 500 axi. Do I need to be at a complete stop to engage 4x4? I don’t have a manual for it and and the seller said I have to be stopped completely. I read some forums that say shift on the fly 4wheel drive. Any clarity ? I can call Suzuki lol

      Nice. Correct, its push button and shift on the fly so you dont have to be stopped. I wouldn’t be doing 60 mph but no worries on hitting the button while moving. Here is my full review of my axi. czcams.com/video/ycpZpakIm6s/video.html

    Hi, what's your opinion about king quad 500axi from 2016, is it ok for me and slow mountain drive with two small kids?

      The King Quads are really nice. Very smooth and easy to ride. Can't speak to riding with more than one person on it, but for a single human it handles about everything well.

    Would you recommend power steering on the Suzuki King Quad 500 or 750?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  Před 2 lety +1

      Definitely. It really is a game changer. Its safer and will allow you to ride a lot longer with less fatigue.

    2 different class vehicles.
    Kodiak 450 vs. KQ 400 would be a head to head comparison..

      So two Japanese large manufacturer utility atvs with CVT transmissions, front and rear utility racks, IRS, power steering, 4wd with diff lock, storage, and DC accessory outlets and with 50cc engine size are in a different class? I would disagree 100%. Not sure how much more similar you can get.

      They are different size vehicles. Compare the length, width, weight, suspension travel of the Kodiac 450, the KQ 500 and the KQ 400. Also the prices.
      The K 450 and the KQ 400 are in the same category, the KQ 500 is a larger, more expensive vehicle.

    2009 king quad 500 doesn’t exist. Probably was a 450 king quad
