- The search for the next voice of Truist Park continues! For weeks, we've been reviewing candidates for our next PA Announcer. In this video, we're bringing you along to the audition day for the Top 12 finalists! With the help of some celebrity judges, these finalists will be reviewed by our team.
Three of these candidates will advance to the next round, where a fan vote will take place as part of the overall voting total. Come along the journey on this audition day and comment your favorites below!

Jonathan Paden was by far one of the most remarkable voices I have heard. He has a strong voice with a pitch that would surely capture baseball fans and create enthusiasm throughout the stands. Great talents.

Too fake and put on.
This was an interesting episode. Many talented people. The one thing about today's announcer is many go over the top. If you listen to old Cardinals PA, Joel Meyers ftom the 82 WS, Reds Jon Braude 1990, Mets Jack Franchetti 1986, or Mets PA Roger Luce 2020, they all emphasized the home team without going over the top. Though all the candidates were good, many try to go over the top. I believe a good PA announcer can get the crowd going without yelling or growling.
Larry Gardner and Steve Henderson both are AWESOME! Larry gets my vote though. Being nervous sucks, so I hate that Larry got tripped up a couple times :/

A lot of great voices, but also a lot of generic voices that sound like every other sporting announcer. My favorite is Steve Henderson! He has a unique, booming depth to his voice that would give the Braves a signature (dare I say) iconic voice to represent them.
