  • Josh and Paige host the Business Partner Couples Podcast.
We have travelled extensively for work, and often take extra time on business trips to explore interesting places around the world. We call these "Tripisodes". Our goal with these videos is to share positive experiences and encourage you to set goals and achieve your dreams. Travel is a GREAT way to grow, learn and expand your horizons.
In this Tripisode, we decide to get out of our traditional comfort zone of dinner choices and "Try New Things" by exploring Singapore's Chinatown. It was intimidating because of the VERY authentic food, language barrier, and fear of the unknown. We conquered this fear by being willing to explore, and pushing our own boundaries.
We take a boat ride to see Singapore from the water (beautiful!). We explore the SkyPark Observation Deck, and then go down to the Riverwalk.
We come back to the studio for a recap chat about the Cloud Forest and the Super Tree Grove. We end the video by exploring an Irish Pub and recapping just how much we enjoyed exploring Singapore.
This video is a complete breakdown of everything we loved about Singapore:
    00:00 - Intro
    01:21 - Boat ride tour
    02:59 - Skypark Observation Deck
    03:42 - River Walk
    04:44 - Chinatown
    06:54 - Studio chat - Cloud Forest
09:34 - Studio chat - Super Tree Grove
11:13 - Skypark Pool at Marina Bay Sands
12:11 - Irish Pub and Recap
We are a married couple that also own a few businesses together. We are the authors of the book "Business Partner - Power Couples Mindset" and host the Business Partner Couples Podcast. We would love to connect with other couples that are also business partners, and grow this community.

The meals you guys had in a China restaurant is China cusines, not Singapore local foods. For Singapore foods, you can goro our hawker centres and try Nasi Lamak, Laksa, rojiah, zui kuah, carrot cakes, boiled eggs and kaya toast.

DEFINITELY - good point! We should have said this in the video! We were travelling with an employee that loves exploring Chinatowns, so we went with him on an adventure -- did not mean to imply that we were having a Singaporean meal! The haker scene is Singapore deserves it's OWN video! ❤️❤️❤️

@@BusinessPartnerCouples I live here but I have not really tried Chinese cuisine before. Likely because I am not familiar and it might be more expensive as it is usually in the form of a small restaurant. I only ate at hawker centres.

The Chinese restaurant you went to serves Northeast China cuisine. The Chinese in Singapore are mostly descended from Southern China so local Singapore Chinese food is more similar to Hong Kong and Taiwan.

After coming from Malaysia.. being in Singapore feels so different, it’s like we can breathe again, feel more free and no longer have the fear of police raiding our hotel room. We r unmarried btw, and in Malaysia, unmarried couples are not allowed to be in the same hotel room.

Boat Quay is definitely not where locals go for dinner 😂🤣. Thanks for the nice video and hope that you enjoyed our little island country.

@@BusinessPartnerCouples I ate a couple of times at Boat Quay but that was like 20 years ago. There was a restaurant that specialised in porridge. Too bad it has closed down. I don't trust the current restaurants there. Likely high priced.

Yes, we did not end up wanting to eat there. So many better options! But we did want to see the Quay up close - those stone steps have so much history!

How come your channel name is so formal? Can't the business partners become married couple ?

Our channel Podcast is about life partners/married couples that own a business together. It was a hard decision to decide what exact words to use!
