I want to thank your parents for putting down roots in Singapore and raising you so well. Please stay, and raise your own families here.
Wendy, Nancy and Alvin.....you are my fellow Sinvaporeans!!! Irregardless of RACE, language or religion........
We, the citizens of Singapore, pledge ourselves as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion, to build a democratic society based on justice and equality so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and progress for our nation".
Ahhh…such a heartwarming story. So glad you guys were able to make Singapore your home. So happy that there were kind and friendly people that extended friendship to you. We are enriched by people such as you. Here, or Tanzania, home is where our heart is. All of us have a home of our origin, and a place we choose to make our home. Sometimes they are the same, sometimes not. You guys are beyond doubt, Singaporeans. 🥰🥰🥰
They are 110% locals through and through, doesn’t matter if they have attained citizenship or not. Just hearing them speak in their distinct Singlish makes them Singaporean. Love this interview, Nancy is so articulate and well-spoken; Wendy is simply gorgeous.
🌺I wish all of you would find your ideal life-long partners 💕and your whole family would become Singapore citizens🦁 and become part of our multi-racial big family 👨👩👧👦
7:32 "Singapore is Singapore because of every unique and different person that's in it" Well said!
Feeling proud we as a country are willing and able to welcome people from different countries and cultures
And that they feel able to integrate into our society without losing their special, individual sense of identity of where they came from.
There is no look being Singaporean 👍
Being Singaporean is all about loving SG with your heart, and being proud and blessed to stay in SG ! ❤
Wonderful advice! Indeed Singapore is a safe place for cultural diversity. Many Americans of diverse backgrounds wish mainstream Americans can think like that. “There’s no look to being American” is a phrase I hope to hear in my lifetime, and I hope one day the phrase “the more I wonder the more I love” comes true.
We are all immigrants ourselves! Welcome to Singapore guys!
Young but thoughtful and reflective. Good kids!
Some friends and I will be visiting Arusha and the Serengeti in Tanzania 🇹🇿 in August for safari. I’m so happy to know there are Tanzanian Singaporeans amongst us 😁
Wendy, Nancy and Alvin👍👍💚💚🧡🧡💛💛👍👍
I came across this CZcams video by accident. As I was driving I just let the phone rolled onto automatically to the next video. I am so lucky and happy that I watched this one. Three such fine, mature people who have made this place their home. I actually teared at the end. Wish you three the very best in your endeavours.
Nice to see you people here, glad to notice you guys have localised to the lingo and lifestyle nuances which is important to becoming a member of the local community. We're a multiracial country with a valuable shared common space as much as respect for respective heritage that we should all be proud of, Majulah Singapura! 💪
to b singaporean is not by birth but by choice. the choice of regardless of race, religion n language, as one united people, to build a just n equal society so as to achieve happiness, progress and prosperity for everyone. you all are most welcome 😊
Happy to hear that you all have many good local friends. Follow your heart and with God’s blessings.
Beautiful sibblings, love them👍 ❤❤❤
Lovely sharing. Agreed indeed. There isn’t just one look
Thank you for sharing that made me appreciate what I hv here. We warmly Welcome you guys here and wishes your family a blessed life in Singapore.
i'm fairly sure that most singaporeans would consider you guys singaporeans. born and bred.
7:23 "....same same but different...."......that's definitely the Singaporean speaking there. Lol....
Hi,
Happy to know that all of you make Singapore your home welcome from Singaporeans.
Awesome ❤❤❤
Tanzania, where Serengeti is? That's my Top No 1 to go destination ever!!!
yeah.... i like the Singlish accent....
so insightful! and wow Kimberly the actress was your sch mate!
Love this
Hey......I grew up in MacPherson. My mother still lives there now!
Steady laaaa. Very warm and heartwarming leh..
This video should be featured for NDP.
Singapore Welcome you ....
Yup. We are rojak but we are 1 dish. The accent, the mentality...
They are all attractive. Nancy’s cute 😅
Wow. Been like a few years since the siblings went on vid to share things. Really makes me think and agree there is no look to being singaporean. But, to really have that "singaporean" mark, the accent. Very very true.
Seen alvin in a youtube vid. good job alvin! Btw. U like grown some meat aready ah... 😂
❤
👍👍👍
When I was a child learning geography, I mistakenly thought Tanzania was named after Tarzan.
I like Julaiha too
The way you guys speak, you are Singaporeans.
They have been living here a long time. Speak Singlish, and have integrated into our society. Their brother had served NS too. They remain as PR probably as a choice, with option to return to Tanzania someday maybe?
I wonder how they were granted PR or citizenship. I know of foreigners born in SG, entered the local education system, sing mari kita daily but even when they turned adults at age 20 plus their PR application was rejected.
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
We are richer as a nation thanks to the diversity of immigrants who made their homes and sink their roots here. Majulah SIngapura!
The subtitles kind of remind me of that skit where the British reporter asking questions to some Arabic tribes. But all of them can speak well but still they need captions.
Hi there, we provide subtitles to all our videos as a way to make the video more accessible to all :)
Tell us about Africa..about Tanzania..educate us..let us know..welcome!!!
Do they have a CZcams or Instagram? They spoke about their videos, yet there was no link

WTH....THERE'S AN ORD PLAQUE NOW ?!
Sadly people like these who have integrated well with Singaporeans still find it a challenge at obtaining PR / citizenship just because of 1 reason, can you guess what? 🤔 can't be said out loud
Is this an old video re upload? I think i seen thme being interviewed years ago already
Hi there, this is a new video, we filmed and interviewed them in 2024 :)
They were interviewed by The Royal Singapore some years ago when the guy was a teenaged boy czcams.com/video/g73wB_NpChY/video.html
They were also Interviewed by The Royal Singapore 3 years ago
Being singaporean is a sound. Thats interesting. I would certainly agree, but i also dont really like my singaporean sound because its too informal and borderline chor lor. When i listen back to how i sound, the words are quite unclear. Orrrr maybe its a me problem 😂😂😂😂😂 but if you compare how a korean speaks english, i find that accent really professional sounding.
(take it as a friend talking to you ) i think its your ...our unique singaporean kind of inferiority , it took me a long long time to get over it and be proud of my accent (but you gotta understand that our accent and our singlish is 2 different things )
you can speak proper english with our singapore accent without the la leh lors and aiyahs.
@@awfully.average indeed. On a day to day basis, I speak and use proper English to converse. But maybe it's just my voice that I dislike. Haha. I don't sound like how I expect myself to sound.
@@awfully.averageTotally agree. I am a 65 year old Singaporean who doesn't speak Singlish, but definitely has a Singaporean accent.
@@karjeecheng9024 your generation speaks the best English ! Almost British

welcome to singapore
if the guy was born in singapoe how can he be a pr?
Sounds like they're leaving for good?
Ladies kinda fine
Jesus christ. 3 of them speaking singlish
Sensible young people. Peppering every other sentence with "like" is very SIngaporean.
I wonder why you see a need to go back to Tanzania to learn about your heritage and culture in order to pass down to your kids.
If you spend almost your whole life in SG, isn't your culture and heritage a Singaporean one?
like they said theyre going back to their roots, yes they spent most of their time in singapore so their culture is mainly singaporean but being born a tanzanian of course they would feel the need to learn more about their culture based on their ethnicity, basically based on nationality yes their culture is singaporean but based on ethnicity they would want to learn about their culture as a tanzanian, would you say that my culture as a malay is one of the same as the culture of being a singaporean?
@abuandkiki3037 yes i actually would say that. Your Malay culutre is of a Singaporean Malay culture. If you were to go back to your roots and go to Malaysia, you may find that their Malay culture may be slightly different from ours. We are only as Malay as our food and what we wear for raya, tbh.
For e.g, i see this in African Americans, too. Born and raised in the US, never been to any African country, but since their parent is from lets say Kenya, and suddenly they are Kenians.
yes pap make it good for foreigners. but the locls they famished !! wicked !!
You need to own your problems , stop blaming the world.
