If they re-sign Kane and bring in Stamkos, look out.
They aren’t going to resign Kane
@@davidkruse4030 a boy can dream
Kane is going to NYC, Rangers for Kane. Stamkos to Red Wings. Goalie to Red Wings, Big defensivemen to Red Wings. That is my guess as to the offseason
Are right now@@davidkruse4030
If Yzerman could bring Stamkos to Detroit, you’d never hear about the Walman give away again.
I love that we're getting a good flow of Red Wings videos lately!
He ain't going to Detroit. It's reported he's probably on his way to nashville
Nashville has the same lowest tax rate in the league as TB does. they also have 19m in cap space.
@@stenco-eh1hdyou’ll see ,he’s interested in Detroit more than he is Nashville I’d be shocked if he goes to Nashville
Detroit is getting tight on cap space, especially with Seider and Raymond as well as the still real possibility that we sign Kane
@@RedWingsninetyone nah man. It's already reported Kane wants to head back to the Rangers.....just saying
Im calling it now..I've actually been saying "why cant Stevie lure Stamkos" during the season. The Walman trade was made to sign Stamkos. Once we sign Stamkos, Kane will have a C to play with on the second line. I can just feel it in my blood.
Gibson to detroit for ville husso, stamkos contract, Ghostisbhere (sp?) re-signed, and Matt Roy signed w/sharks providing some contract dollars. Stevie Y. has done it again and Detroit is an even more considerable contender in '24/25. What do ya think?
This would be awesome if he can stay healthy foe like 4 or 5 years
rather have Reinhart (way younger) but Stamkos would be cool also
Kane Stamkos DeBrincat 2nd line 🤯
Stamkos is gonna be better then Kane in Detroit
I wonder what those future considerations are?
it means if you ever want to do a stupid trade like that with us again in the future, we will certainly consider it.
Money, draft pick, or a prospect.
If Reinhart leaves Florida and the Cats have money I could see the Cats pick up Stammer so he can stay in Florida tax free.
And just like that it feels like 2016 again lol
I saw a rumor pop up he’s bought a house in Detroit I don’t know how true it is
I don’t think Detroit is done yet and Stammer is going to play well another 4-5 years as he is only 33.
They get future considerations for Walman and the 2nd. That could be money, a draft pick, or a prospect.
problem is cap space space, they brought back their second SC defense star in Ryan McDonagh, 4 6,75 M and need depth scoring
Can you imagine
Raymond, Larkin, Debrincat
Stamkos, Kasper, Kane
A little ridiculous to even type that out, but it would be cool
lol what? You have kasper as a second line center? Did he even make the team yet?
@@davidkruse4030 of course he hasn’t made it yet, but he probably will. He’s probably not good enough for a second line center, but I liked the pairing. His willingness to do the dirty work with two very skilled wings. He’s just young and extremely competitive. Plus, there’s a good chance none of those three are on the team next season anyways lol
I'll be more than happy to eat my words here, but if I were an agent and needed to get a deal pushed across the line at the buzzer, I would also tell Pierre LeBrun that my client is about to walk..
If yzerman can pay attention, we can sign him for like seven mil. And then we still have like 16 million in salary.
Wings have like 32 mill to play with. Sieder will make like 7 and change, Raymond will make 6 and change. So say roughly 14 million total. That leaves them with 16 left. Sign Kane at 5 mill and change( Give him performance bonus option) . That leaves say 10 mill left. Offer Stamkos 7. You can't have any one make more than Larkin. So now you are at say 3 mill. There are a couple players he could buy out to free up the remaining money to sign the other handful of guys. I would say he would need to buy out who ever to free up another 6 mill. These are just my thoughts and opinions.
Stamkos to YVR
I wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Detroit.. it really gets down to basically if Yzerman wants him Yzerman is going to get him.. PERRIODTT.. for multiple reasons.. in fact, Stammer is probably the only player that I feel that applies to that strongly that'll hit the FA market this season.. not that Yzerman can pull any other good players..
Nah man the report is he's probably on his way to Nashville
Nashville has the lowest tax rate in the league and they have 19m in cap space. They're trying to sign him too.
@@stenco-eh1hd yeah but it doesn't really get down to money for a Stammer.. I just feel that doesn't apply to him and he doesn't care about that type of stuff.. he strikes me as the type who wants to do right .. Stevie just seems to get what she wants more times than not.. the only reason we haven't heard his and much is because he thought the Red Wings wasn't ready.. I knew we were going to win the I knew the Red Wings were going to win the Debrincat deal because Yzerman was involved and Cat was from Detroit.. I kept telling Islander fans it wasn't going to happen.. they thought I was lying or trolling or something.., 😭
@@stenco-eh1hdya but i think he would be going to the redwings likely instead of Nashville
@@stenco-eh1hd same thing with Kane.. I told devil's fans that they weren't going to get him and he was coming to Detroit.. can you send me the link to that bud? that would be greatly appreciated 👍
We need to start playing the young kids. Signing rentals is not setting up a future to win many cups!
he used detroit last time. and hes doing it again
Come to Vancouver, Stammer! (if we don't get Guentzel)
Nah i would prefer guentzel and Dillon
You guys are already out of the guentzel sweepstakes
You've been resigning a bunch of players and now you don't have cap for guentzel. He wants 12m from Vancouver and Vancouver has 11
You also still have 9 free agents. So yeah it already got announced guentzel won't be going to van my guy. They don't have the cap anymore.
Also, Stamkos is apparently more than likely heading to Nashville. They have the lowest tax rate in the league and 19m in cap
Sad that Stammer is holding out for a high paying contract. My God, the dude has made TAX FREE MONEY for his entire career! That's close to double what Matthews, Tavares, Nylander would ever make in Toronto! Sadly someone is gonna give this guy the golden ticket & he's probably gonna make $9-10 Mil for another 3-4 years. CRAZY.
Anaheim is very interested in him
With their young centres, an experienced faceoff taking wing would be terrific.
Canucks need this guy. Give him 4 year 8mill he 34 years old. He will be 38 when done. Dude is a killer on pp something we need
He's going to Nashville dude it's already more or less reported lmao
Nashville has the lowest tax rate in the entire league and they also have 19m in cap space
Can a guy dream lol. But Canucks do have the cash also.
@@sysonp5711 Vancouver has one of the highest tax rates in the entire league dude. It's 47%. Nashville has the lowest tax rate in the entire league lmao.
Gibson to the wings would be a good move. Dostal is ready to take the net, and Gibson could use a change
What!....Kane, Stamkos, Perron are they a retirement home for aging NHL'ers.
Who gets the C when Stammer leaves?
Kooch
Stamkos? I can see it. Gibson? Really? *Really*? Hard pass. We have Husso and Lyon, and I'm okay with that. We don't need Reimer 2.0.
Will he wear 91 in Detroit?
Tampa loves to just toss away there most significant captians in history
Also if stammer goes to det and federov comes in be assured kooch is coming too
Bring Stammer to Vancouver
Bring Stammer to Boston
Boston would be a great fit for him. He 2 expensive for the wings we need a real goalie and #2 defense man. His age scares me fir that money
I like it, except 91 should be retired in Detroit.
Its already reported that if stamkos doesnt resign with tampa.....theres a 95% chance he signs with Nashville.
Nashville has the lowest tax rate in the league and 19m in cap
Wrong
Plus Detroit is a better fit with reunion with yzerman and lalonde and be better for our future prospects he can work well with
@@cameronfranke8566 want the link?
@@cameronfranke8566 don't comment if you don't do research. Elliot friedman reported it on his podcast lmao
@@cameronfranke8566 he's going to Nashville cause they have the lowest tax rate in the league. That's if Tampa Bay doesn't figure out a way to sign him.
We don't want him
Do you not know how much of an impact he would be and take Detroit to the next level
I'd take him over kane
