⚠ Quick update regarding bike compatibility:
Besides the confirmed bike models on our website, we are currently working on developing Rack Plates for Yamaha T7, H-D Pan America, Suzuki V-Strom 850/1050 and Triumph Tiger 900/1200.

@@FMJP It's not as bad as it looks, but I haven't been able to tour on it yet due to the winter.

That’s great news about the Pan America plate! I placed an order already and chose Africa Twin fitment on a whim, figuring I would ask my welding buddy for help when the case arrives.
Any expected time for the Pan America plate? Been looking for those but rarely anybody in the market who does anything for HD-PA

This is what the BMW OEM case should have been. If it worked with the central locking it would have been perfect, but no doubt security would have been decreased.

Guys... You've really knocked out of the park with this one. Levels above of what's on the market and at (at least for me) a quite reasonable price. Will definitely be getting one. This is perfect for daily commuters like me that need to change into "work clothes" from their riding gear.

Je me posait la même question, j ai vu des écrous freinée du côté opposé mais une clé et un tournevis pour appuyer et les boulons se desserre. J attend de le voir en vrai pour commander parce que comme ça il a l air super facile à ouvrir. Pourquoi n'ont ils pas mis des rivets?

I've watched all your videos on the development of this case and thought it seemed a bit like trying to re-invent the wheel. I mean an aluminium box is an aluminium box, what could you do differently? After watching this video I'm a convert. Your attention to detail and the fact that you include things like the back rest, inner liner, bag and net which everyone else charges extra for have won me over and my order is in (missed the first batch unfortunately). One question, do you include spare wafers for re-coding to a BMW bike key?

One question. With the lock screws exposed, will it be easy to break into the trunk? It doesn't look as pretty but it might be safer to put the screws on the inside.
If true, that would be a major oversight. They should be riveted imho

Can't lie, I want one. Beautiful and thoughtful design. Wonder if they will be making side cases with the same design. That'd be great. As I like hard cases and not the soft cases. Having this look and features in the side cases along with the top case would be great.

Looks good. I have the Varios on my 1250GS but if I trade for the 1300GS or more likely whatever the GSA / 1400GS is I’d get these. Edit, by the way, the links don’t work in.e page not found
So how about taking 2 of the larger cases and use them as side cases.
Why am I just seeing this in June and missed out on the discount? Anyway these products should be available at all dealerships. This top case would’ve been the first thing I bought when I got my 1300GS.

Really hope you guys figure out a way to ensure this new lock system can be retrofitted to your soft luggage locks. Seriously, we can't keep inventing new locks for each product. Ill end up with a bunch of keys where with other products ill have 1

When will they be available for r1300gs without the vario rack ?
The Vario rack (or 'Topcase Carrier') is needed as the other two racks (Luggage Carrier and Sport Grab Handle Bridge) from BMW don’t have any attachment points (screw holes), and would also not be able to handle the weight of a top case. All third party racks are to be considered incompatible.

Lonerider really should rebrand to BMW Rider. Your bias to the boomer bike is always so strong.
Really hope at some point you guys will do keys for the top box for other brands too, and or at least standardize your keys across the range so the side bags and top box can use the same key. I'll probably get this box but now all my Lonerider products will have different keys.
