The first one i think you did the right thing. Some people might disagree with me but heres my reasons. I personally think that if you were going to change your mind dont even ask her in the first place and yes i understand if she actually wanted to invite her but then you should've gave her a reason why she couldnt be your brides maid. Also the mom is also a little at fault. Why would she spoil the suprise anyways? I think you did the right thing for getting rid of it. 1 for your gfs feelings because i think everyone would agree that everyone is equal. 2 for your mom spoiling it. You gave both of them requirements one of them succeed. You should not apologize. It is not your fault for one of your childrens success. Parents can have favorites but 90% of the time there equal.
