About the game:
HELLDIVERS 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

When you get stuck on a door, or picking stuff up from the containers that you have to blow the doors off... Spam dive and crouch, has got me free every time, but sometimes takes 3 seconds sometimes 20-30 seconds.
You just press E on the buttons again and you come off them.
I have not had so much fun in years. So many bad things in this world we live in and suddenly THIS comes along! Not a AAA or AAAA (snerk) title, not very well marketed at all. I heard about it almost by accident and went 'oh, a sequel to THAT? Hmmm...' I picked it up the day after launch and have not put it down since! I am truly addicted to spreading Democracy and Freedom for Super Earth and I have not laughed so hard in a long time. I NEEDED this game and I am glad to play it
I agree the basics of the games are simple but stratagems can be mixed to get the most of them and all the stuff in the game is pretty badass if you know their mechanics..
Enjoying Nightingale myself at the moment, and also Hunt Showdown. I dithered about getting this Helldivers 2 though. Might pick it up at some point.
Because it's fun.
