Your garden is an absolute work of art 👊
Ain't tho?! I was gonna say the same thing😅✌🏼
🙏🔥🐻
Great work Nick ! You are an inspiration young man.
ugh!!! this is absolutely euphoric. a literal oasis
This motivates me to grow more. 👍 thanks
Some Divineness!! Thank you! .... and dang, i wish i could get my hands on some of that fennel! I eat it raw, but there's still snow cover on my garden, so will have to wait.
Badass!!!
Excellent!
Love your garden! Thanks for sharing 🌻 fyi, if you can find the fire ant pile, pour boiling water into the mound, after you make a hole with broomstick! Hopefully that will help! 👍 let us know if it works!
I really would love a garden like this 😍 I'm in Florida I need to make a bigger garden 😅
Your garden makes my soul happy! It is absolutely beautiful!
Wow!! Your garden literally makes me drool! I love it it's so beautiful, that's my inspiration for the day, thank you for sharing
Hey nicevto meet you love your garden
In SC we always fed fire ants with cornmeal, then water so they swell and then pop.
I love how your garden is so beautiful! ❤
We have learn lots of your videos. Thanks very much.
I feel your pain. Armadillos are the worst! They dig up so much in my garden. Grrr…
Baller assed trellis 😅 would love a video on that 👍
Yea bro, I need an internship lol keep it up!
Look out 😂 I saw the thumbnail and I was like Florida wait a mini I know that place.. and bingo! 😍 not only is your planting style aesthetically pleasing, but so is your face! 😁☺️
Absolutely gorgeous garden! Armadillos are awful. We have issues with them also on the Alabama coast. They create havoc. We use the large animal traps (bought at Tractor Supply) and then release them near the creek.
Thanks for sharing this information with love ❤️ u from Ghana 🇬🇭.
Looks amazing. So much good work.
Soul stirring! Great job!
Amazing!!!!
I really like the long garden beds! they look so nice! I think they could be the best why to garden... I have beds and I may redo them....
Amazing🙌
Beautiful!!!!
Awesome job .. keep growin on ..!!
It's beautiful Nick! Nice work. Keep it up!
beautiful garden.....gotta not watch at night cause it makes me hungry :)
Everything looks so beautiful 😍 I am dealing with critters at home too. I use a granulated pest repellent from Bonide (Repels-All) and it seems to work but I have to reapply every week. I like the idea of juicing fennel. I usually roast it with other vegetables or add it to stews or soups. Thanks for the update I really enjoy them.
Fennel is so good juiced in many different combinations.
Amazing Work , God Bless you always
Holy smokes young man that’s impressive stuff!! I’m in Satellite Beach, FL and really struggle to grow veggies 😢
Excellent video, Lot to learns
Wonderful garden. Look forward to your collecting seed film.
No Armadillos here in Alaska, but the Porcupines love my Cauliflower. I "Blasted" one of them last summer.
Awesome garden bro. Shout-out from Wesley Chapel
There might be a market for dried fennel frawns. It's a great ingredient for making sausages.
Inspiring 🫡
What in the Jurassic Park was that animal noise in the beginning of the video???? 😂
Cranes
🤣🤣🤣💀
When do you stop doing tasty Tuesday for the year? Great job on your market garden btw.
Finally found a YT gardener my husband will watch. 😂 “Thank God” he said, “a man who’s just a dude, talking about his great garden.” 😆 He appreciates your chillness, I reckon. Thanks for being a normal dude in the midst of overly-hyper social media personalities.
Lmao! I love it! Yeah I can’t stand most “Content Creators”! They and their click bait drive me nuts! Im friends with many folks that fall in that category but their YT personalities are annoying 🤣. I’m as real as it gets. And ya get what ya get with me. 🤷🏻♂️ I don’t do it for the camera I do it cause it’s what I was made to do. Y’all (my viewers) just get to see it when I’m in the mood to share stuff haha. I’d much rather just be in the garden without the camera most of the time.
@@GrowingBackToEden I honestly enjoy a lot of those folks too - but my husband just can’t hang. 😂 He calls himself an “LED” - Low Energy Dude. Not in physical exertion, but just in personal exuberance. He enjoys finding fellow “LEDs” in the wild. 🤣
@@thesouthernshirehomestead hahaha yeah that’s sounds like an accurate description of me. 😂
Papalo is a heat-loving cilantro alternative. It might be a Spring/Summer option for you
Where have you gotten the seed? I’ve wanted to grow that for years but never did when I was in Washington cause I could grow cilantro years round lol. I learned about it a few years before I moved out west but couldn’t find the seed at the time.
Is that the same as culantro (Recao)? That is my summer cilantro alternative.
@naomisuacosta9238 I believe I read somewhere papalo is in the aster family. Culantro is in the carrot family.
@GrowingBackToEden I planted the last of my seed last Spring. I had bought t h e seed at my last home. I sent an email to a nursery in North Alabama (he is a seed treasure trove) to see if he is still in business and if he still had papalo seed. You never know
@@CarrieNita What about real cilantro, is that in the carrot family? Recently found my brother is allergic to cilantro and we're not sure if he'd tolerate culantro.
Wow no entiendo nada 😂😂 pero esta muy lindo todo
Where at in Florida are you ? I live in central Florida and what do you do with your pest pressure or what do you use ?
The ant traps that Pete was touting a couple of years ago don't work on fire ants?
Not a weed in sight!!! How deep are your woodchips? How do you manage no weeds??!!!
There are no wood chips… it’s compost. Any weed that comes up gets pulled before it gets big. Whenever I see one I get it right then I don’t walk past it.
Your beds are beautiful! Have you found anything to help with the fireant problem? I live in SE GA and they invaded ALL my pots and my raised beds over winter, so I will have to get aggressive in order to even put my starts in. I love to get my hands in the dirt, but not with them lurking. I seem to chase them from spot to spot around the yard as well. They are the spawn of Satan!
What soil do you use for your seed starting trays? I have never been able to get that part right.
Please help!
Did you plant the Pompeii onions? Are those th we ones you are cutting off above the onion?
Yeah I have planted everywhere haha. The pompell onions are a small “bulb” onion that gets about the size of a gulf ball. So no those aren’t getting cut. The bunching onion I cut and let regrow
What is it on top of your milk crates? I like the setup!
Plastic pallets
Oh, also look up a young man on Honeybee Hollow garden and check out the style of his filming. That may be easier for you to create content and grow your channel. I love your style of filming don't get me wrong , but maybe using some of his style would help us see you in action.✌🤷♀️🙏🙏🙏
Looks nice. About how big are these gardens?
About a quarter acer in total shown in this video
How do you make the bed so straight
How do you prevent root nematodes?
How big is this garden? I'm trying to figure out how much space I need. :)
What zone or county are you in FL? I'm in the Jefferson County (panhandle area) and haven't quite found the spot a perfect garden. But decided to plant my raspberries from pot to ground after 2 years.
He's about 45 minites to an hour north of Tampa. Probably zone 9b or the bottom of 9a
Springhill
Wow how do you have and keep such beautiful soil? No greenhouse for seeds starts?
I show all if the seed starts I grow towards the beginning of the video. And I build soil with biology, no till practices, leaving roots in the soil as biomass for the biology, and top dressing with small amounts of compost throughout the season.
@@GrowingBackToEden I just dumped a whole bunch of animal compost in my beds and planted some direct and others transplanted hoping for a great season 👍
@@GrowingBackToEden I noticed no greenhouse and the seeds trays all set up in front of the garden rows... is that how you always do your seed starts using no shelter? Do you experience "drying out" of the seeds blocks or whatever you use? I've grown food before but I'm not a pro at it.. yet. I appreciate your content and subscribed.
@@freewillchoice8052 no I just make sure they stay watered. I live in Florida so i basically live in a greenhouse lol. The greenhouse cause almost make it more difficult to grow starts here. And through the winter the lack of daylight plays an effect. A greenhouse would hinder growth even more. They do fine for me out in the open.
@@GrowingBackToEden I'm about 2 hours north east of you. I saw you stated you're about 45 minutes or so north of Tampa. I'd definitely come visit and purchase some of your lovely products. Where do you sell your products and what days and times are you open?
I mean root knot nematode infection in this type of beds
you would have to move the armadillo 100 miles away from your garden
I moved him to heaven… 😬🤷🏻♂️ that should be far enough lol
@@GrowingBackToEden lol
Is your juice lady Jeanette? @ms.fitvegan loves fennel in her juices! Great for salads too. Shes in Miami though i dono where your market is.
Thanks for showing/sharing your market garden its really inspiring
Certainly there are some restaurants that could use your source? Jill at whispering Willow farms has started growing nasturtiums for the restaurants in her area in Arkansas. I know that the "Farm to table style" has exploded around. But, WOW you are a very impressive young man!!!🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤👍👍👍🦩🦩🦩
Everyone else likes nice neat straight rows. Any microscopy images to show th real work?
Go on Instagram
@@GrowingBackToEden are saying your images on instagram? Or what?
@@billiebruv yeah I have a lot of close up stuff in Instagram. I don’t have time to really go in detail on every little thing. The videos I do lately are for my own documentation of the garden first then for everyone else’s pleasure after.
