I think it is a really nice compressor. I liked it in-review for Higher Hz. BUT at $400 against Magic Death Eye for $100 to simply knowing any decent tools, it is an insane offering.

Beautiful compressor. I really like the subtle stereo width and sparkle added to the source when engaged. I have 2 discount coupons lurking in my shopping cart, gassing pretty hard…
This was a very nice presentation. Could you please tell me what the SC button does? So far no-one can explain clearly to me the "why" of using it. Another question to you is how does the "headroom" button work? Again many presenters have glossed over these two functions. Well done and great selection of music. Greetings from Spain.
Your side chain is a high-pass filter affecting the compression circuit. This doesn't audibly change your mix. It changes the way the compressor reacts to low frequencies. Next time you use the plug in dial it in the way you'd like and engage and disengage the SC. You'll see a considerable difference in gain reduction due to the low frequency energy in your mix.
The headroom function affects the color and compression characteristics of the plug in. Hardware units react differently depending on how much signal you feed the unit. I believe this to be an In The Box way of doing the same thing.
I'd think of it as: how hard do you want to hit the plug in unit when processing your tracks. For me personally I'd leave it stock and adjust other parameters first!

Very nice video. Really nice vibe of this compressor - this definitely adds controlled glossiness. I found for percussive instruments, it can add a really nice bounce when dialled in right. As you demonstrated here, not just a mastering compressor. I found it versatile.
