He has transformed one of the world's most popular social media platforms with an open API and a limited spam problem into a bastion of online free speech. What was once a proverbial town square of public discourse has become a platform littered with bots promoting Russian propaganda, gore, and other not-safe-for-work.

I blame tired brain for this, someone had just mentioned falling for an April Fools joke at work before watching this video. So when I started watching the video and heard the announcement, I knew it was joke, but didn't think about it being an 4-1 joke. So when it kept going on, my tired brain is like "wait what?"and then realized we weren't getting any steam deck news....

Musk made some big mistakes, like hiring a former WEF-woman as the CEO. But we can't deny that Twitter now does less censorship (not no censorship) than before Musk owned it, that is a good thing.
Three things: if a corporation talks about freedom, then run as fast as you can. It's a marketing line used to sell dangerous products (tobacco, cars, social media).
Musk is a corporation.
He "censors" even more than Twitter did. And there's an argument to be made that his "censorship" is actually classifiable as censorship where Twitter's was not.
