Taking the Deuce Bus in Las Vegas...Worth It??

- Hi everybody! It's Mike.
Here's another video from my December 2021 Las Vegas trip. I wanted to do some different things this trip and that meant finding transportation. But instead of renting a car or using Uber/Lyft, I tried out the Deuce bus, a double decker bus that rides up and down the strip in a big loop 24 hours a day.
So, how was it? Watch the video!!
Thanks for checking out my video! Please like it, and it would be great if you subscribed.

We always take the bus. It’s so much cheaper than Uber or a cab. We are never in a hurry so we just enjoy the ride.
I'd rather get waterboarded than ride on a bus crammed to the max with sweating passengers.
The Deuce bus is the only bus I like!
Thank you for your response
Nice!!
LOL nice and funny!
Thanks!
TL;DW : YES
The SDX is officially deleted, sadly. It could come back in some form later but it is officially deleted, not merely suspended.
Like most transit agencies, they are having staffing issues, and this route in particular is subject to cancelations based on traffic and workforce issues
Aw, really? Shoot. Thanks for the info!
Do I have to get off the bus and get on the different bus to get to strip when I get to downtown
Thank you
Nope! It makes a big loop around downtown, through the Strip, down past the Welcome to Vegas sign, and back. Unless you're asking if they make you get off downtown or can you just stay on once the bus gets downtown and take the same bus back to the Strip without actually getting off? Hmm. That I don't know.
Is there an App that tracks the Deuce bus on the strip so you can see how far away the bus is from where you are
? Thanks for sharing. Awesome website.
Thanks for watching! As far as I know, there isn't a way to track where the buses are. You would think it would be easy to do that...I can watch my car move on Google Maps when I'm driving around. lol.
The bus(es) hit each stop every 15 minutes so I never felt a need to track it. I usually stay downtown and take the Deuce to the strip and back. It's big, nice, and with a/c
im kind of confused please it's the deuce and the RTc are they same bus please?
RTC Transit is the name of the transit authority. Deuce is the name of the bus route (and the bus). So the RTC covers all the bus routes in Southern Nevada while The Deuce is just one of those routes. Does that make sense? Did that help?
Can I buy the Deuce pass and hop on SDX bus as well?
Normally, yes. But unfortunately, the SDX was discontinued due to COVID and as far as I know, hasn't come back yet.
I miss the sdx :( but the deuce is pretty good
Yeah, I didn't get the chance to ride the SDX before they pulled it. Hope it comes back. Seems the better deal if you want to get to places quicker.
@@steelcityreseller8170 I'd take the monorail to SLS (now Sahara) station and grab SDX from there, it was awesome. Not a double decker but one of those double long buses
speaking of a duece im taking one right now ....ill be sure to flush
