Looking for a FREE Shuttle in Las Vegas? Catch a Ride on the Downtown Loop!

- Prior to our last trip to Las Vegas, NV in December 2021/January 2022, I was researching monorails and trams on the Las Vegas strip when I came across the website for Downtown Loop. Chris and I were planning to check it out together, but we just couldn’t fit it into our plans while we were staying at the El Cortez near Fremont Street Experience. Luckily, during my solo trip to Vegas, our buddy Alan from @LasVegasandBeyond agreed to join me on the ride.
It was a very pleasant experience. We had a friendly shuttle driver AND the ride was completely free! There are 3 shuttles operating at a time and the maximum wait time at each stop along the route is about 16 minutes. You could easily wait as long for an Uber or Lyft and pay much more for your trip. There are 13 stops on the route. We boarded the shuttle near Fremont St. Experience in front of Golden Gate Hotel and Casino. From there, you have the option to stop at Circa, the Mob Museum, Fremont East Entertainment District, Pawn Plaza, Arts District North, The Strat, Brewery Row, Arts District South, Bonneville Transit Station, Symphony Park, Las Vegas North Premium Outlets and City Hall before returning to your original stop. The entire route will take between 47-51 minutes. They run like clockwork.
Current hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 6pm and Friday and Saturday from 3pm to 10pm.
We will definitely utilize this free transportation in Las Vegas on future trips.

I can't believe they closed the Greyhound bus station downtown. I haven't gone back to Vegas since they closed it down! I used to live in Henderson and I used that even when I move back to California it was my go to just to come back and stay at downtown properties as a visitor sad😢
That’s a bummer. Is there a way to utilize the other bus systems to get where you’re going?

This was a great video Cathryn, full of lots of awesome tips 👍 We rarely stay downtown but good to know this is an option when we do as driving down there is crazy with lots of one way streets and expensive parking, etc!
I love that you can get from the strip to Fremont. Of course, Chris doesn’t really consider The Strat to be part of the Strip because it’s so far from everything. But, I would certainly have made him walk there if I knew about this shuttle years ago!
