0:43.... Ce bruit ! Mythique.... A faire rêver le plus casanier des Etres Humains.... Quand on part en vacances , ce n'est pas la destination la plus importante mais le voyage pour y aller.....Allez je pars !!!!
Conway engines, no? A cargo airline I flew for in the late 1980s and 1990s bought a 707-300C from Sabena and it was the nicest, most clean, pristine airplane of its vintage I'd ever seen. The old pneumatic pressurization control even worked almost as well (fast response) as the electronic control in any newer 300 Advanced model ship. The Air Force bought that plane from us for the Joint Stars program.
That's a very early 707 it didn't have the taller rudder or fin under the body at the rear of the plane the plane crashed before it could go back to Boeing for modification
Wow some of the best images of the 707 with these engines!!
Très nostalgique ❤
SABENA - Quel bel oiseau et quel service...
Reminiscent of how it was like to fly when I was growing up. Coats and ties. A long ways from shorts and tank tops that you see these days.
OO-SJB a very rare sight. It crashed 2/1961. Thanks for the video.
Wow, it didn't last long.
Pilot error?
Mechanical.
Sabena 548.
Que des bons souvenirs......superbe machine, Belle Époque.
Vua bầu trời những năm 60 của thế kỷ trước❤

Not conway engines, JT4A turbojets, the -420 with Conway engines has a more distinctive hushkit.
Love it! TY! Greetings from Norway!
